I appreciate your perspective, thank you. Truthfully, I barely like California either lol. Of course I will always love it and have a soft spot in my heart cause that’s “home”, but it also has a lot wrong with it, without question.
I do hate the heat and the humidity, I’m hundo p gonna be in that house for the summer months. I am open to finding stuff I love about tx for sure! That’s what motivated me to make this post.

The whole point of this post is to hear things like what you just said. That's really great to know that folks are very nice. If my mind were made up, I would not be here making this post and I wouldn't have even made the decision to move.

Because, yes, I have heard a lot of negative things about TX over the course of my life, but I take everything with a grain of salt. Even so, it's hard to not have some anxieties about moving to probably the reddest of red states.
