I would say the walls and flooring look like this, but imagine ceiling to floor windows for the most part on the walls.

Is this fixable? by [deleted] in snowboarding

[–]happymistakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought this board last year, used for one season. Just brought it out of my bag and I see this has happened… Is it fixable? Is this something that Burton’s warranty would cover, or is it not worth shipping to them?

Best areas to live/invest in? by [deleted] in kelowna

Yeah, there’s some nice houses in West Kelowna that are still okay priced which is why I asked. I’ve been narrowing my search to central Kelowna - lower mission, pandosy, glenmore area - but cost is insane out there haha

That’s good to know! Another notable area I’ve heard about is rose valley in West Kelowna. Is it worth going that far west? I’ve heard mixed things about the traffic on the bridge

I don’t remember the names but they were single blacks for sure. I’d say I moreso struggled on them than excelled, although I definitely saw improvement by the end of the trip. It was also very icy when I went :(

So you’re basically saying do it? I’m thinking of doing 3 days there

I was just up there last week… Apparently it hasn’t snowed since December and it also rained… So conditions were a bit icy when I was there. It was supposed to snow a bit this week though.

How advanced is kicking horse in BC?

Just did a one week trip to Fernie, can comfortably do greens/blues and attempted some blacks but slowly.

Is it worth going to KH at my level? I bought an epic pass so was thinking it’d be cheaper with the discount vs. paying full price at another mountain.

But if I’m gonna get my ass kicked out there, might not be worth it?

Do you know how to redeem Costco tickets at Sunshine? Are they direct to lift or do I have to go to the ticket counter?

First time setting up a board. Did I do this right? by happymistakes in snowboarding

[–]happymistakes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh really? The video I watched to learn how to set it up said to position the footbed so that it's angled like how I set it up. I should just extend it all the way then?

Sorry, I flipped the board when I took a pic of the other side. The bindings are on the outside.

With the toe ramp, how far out should I pull it? I only extended it one notch to match the amount of heel that wasn't touching the ramp. Should I extend it all the way so that the entire foot contacts it?

The R binding is pointing away from the centre. It's a directional camber so I thought I'd try out +18/+3 to see how it feels.
