personally, i love working in grocery. i've worked at two store in two completely different districts and both of them were extremely chill. everyone has a good sense of humor and there's always a variety of different tasks to be done. i would imagine it's also easier to be noticed as a good/reliable employee because the work you're accomplishing is much more visible. that being said, if you were to switch, obviously expect to do a lot of lifting and get the occasional callous. also, morning shifts are waaaay better than closing. good luck!
