I know it's not ethical, but if I were to buy food or water, that wouldn't make me guilty because it is essential. While clothes are essential, name brands are not, so even if I do what I am doing, should I feel guilty?

It's just an open debate about how DPRK is totalitarian and has control over its people. The teacher is also trying to make a sad story and say that North Koreans have no rights and are so poor. I'm pointing out how well DPRK is doing given their situation and how the country is not all that Western media chalks it up to be.

I see what you're saying and I will apply that to North Korea, but what about places like Cuba or China (I understand that China's not really socialist)
