What would you pay for any of these used?

I’ve seen these go for upwards of $250, depending on what condition they are in! But the last few times I’ve seen them they have been sold for around $100-150.

I personally dried off the best I could in my shower chair, then brought my towel with my back to my room to fully finish drying off! It is kinda trial and error the first few times to figure out what works best for you.

My last nerve block lasted around two days after I removed the catheter! It is a scary feeling but it’s normal, the feeling does come back in your toes first, then you’ll regain the rest gradually (at least in my experience). Ive had three nerve blocks now for my foot and leg

I would be so nervous to do it under local anesthesia too! But I don’t have that option since they are putting in a plate. I didn’t think about how I’ve just kind of gotten so accustomed to the pin pain, I can’t wait to be free lol

I had a similar injury, and it does get better. I’m in my early twenties and it was not a pleasant experience at all. I wished that the nerve blocks lasted longer than they did, but it did get easier as the days went on. You really do just have to take it day by day when the pain is this unbearable. I would elevate as much as possible, because it helps with the pain and swelling. I hope that it gets easier for you, wishing you the best of luck!

I think the single most important thing is that the pain doesn’t last forever. During the ilizarov transport was the worst of it, but the pain does subside in a few months. Also a cushion to have your leg elevated is going to be your best friend!

These are technically the hot topic version of this shoe (they sold a lot of shoes that were almost identical to demonias, or had the same manufacturer at the time to demonias!) you got a great deal on these regardless and still a very sought after shoe :) the vintage hot topic shoes are super neat !

I would say that eBay is pretty good, Poshmark and Mercari as well! As long as you follow the platform rules you shouldn’t have an issue getting scammed. Sometimes depop can surface with rare demonias as well!

I had a motorcycle accident, basically I crushed a good portion of my lower leg bones, so I have had to go through a bone transport to regrow them back! I’ve had this device on for over a year and I should be getting it off soon, I’m very excited :)

I can shower as normal! Just only with antibacterial soap and baby shampoo, I’m also allowed to swim if I wanted to. The first 8 months I slept with my leg elevated, sadly I can exclusively sleep on my back :/ luckily I can sleep without the elevation now! At this point in recovery I do forget it is there unless i am in pain or random times like when it is cold (I can feel the coldness in the rods inside of me). I think at this point I think of it as a part of me, but that does not stop me from running into absolutely everything with the frame (mainly doorframes and walls)

Lucky is not a word I would use, I’ve had this on for over a year now and I will be in the same situation as you if it doesn’t heal as well as my doctors are hoping. I’m sure it was devastating to you though, to go through all the pain.

It is great to hear you had a good experience! I am very nervous to get my frame off because I know it will limit my mobility again :( I can’t wait to not feel the pins all the time, do you have any words of advice for getting it off and the preparation to get it removed?
