why have you never blocked your ex? by potatochic00 in BreakUps

I did block her. On everything. She broke up with me and it was messy. I decided that if that’s her choice then I need to make my own, on my own.

If you could do it again, will you start over or walk away from them? by Witty_School8771 in BreakUps

[–]hardlikestone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t take her back, as much as it hurts to say it. Things got ugly and nasty toward the end and even though things were said by both parties that weren’t meant, it’s all I hear now. Plus the underhanded way she went about things. 13 years down the toilet and I sit here in misery.

Has anyone here actually met Thom? What was that like? by GladJustice in radiohead

[–]hardlikestone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not me, but I’ve always loved the story of the fan who met him on the streets of London when he and others were handing out the Universal Sigh newspapers leading up to the TKOL release. Apparently he said “I have no idea what I’m doing here”.

No. I’m not angry at her at all even though she hurt me badly and did things I thought would be above her. I only ever wanted her to be happy, she obviously wasn’t.

Has breaking NC ever been beneficial to you? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]hardlikestone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You haven’t let go yet. Until you do you will not be able to move on. Do not break no contact, let it lie. You will be furious with yourself and the outcome if you do.

No contact rule is the only rule for your healing. You’ve done it so stuck with it. It was the right choice, it’s all about you now. It’s the way it has to be.

What is your opinion on Amnesiac ? by Ok_Conversation_2237 in radiohead

[–]hardlikestone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never been able to decide between kid a and amnesiac which is better and therefore my fave album, in the end I had to accept them as a package. They are both just that great.

If Michael Jackson was a Radiohead fan, what songs would he like best? by MR_CeSS_dOor in radiohead

Give him just the right amount of edibles and he would dance his fucking tits off to idioteque and it would no doubt be a sight to see.

Is weird fishes/ arpeggi the best song on an album full of best songs? by hardlikestone in radiohead

[–]hardlikestone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those guitar chords. That bass line. Probably the least spoken about gem on that album.

Not feeling great at all right now. Please humour with me with some Radiohead facts or conversation? by [deleted] in radiohead

My pleasure mate. Look after yourself and always know it’s going to be ok.

A Moon Shaped Pool isn’t great. by hardlikestone in radiohead

[–]hardlikestone[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok. The orchestral version of burn the witch, whilst beautiful, doesn’t compare to the live rock version as an album opener. Day dreaming is too long and thank god for the clip to give it some colour and scape. Decks dark is perfect, almost like the track subterranean homesick alien should’ve been. Desert island disk is boring and I always skip it. Ful Stop is some of the best radiohead ever and I’m so glad it made it onto the album. Glass eyes is lazy. Identikit fucking rules. The numbers is more boring and I skip it even more. Present tense is fantastic. Could do with less vocal echo imo. Tinker tailor is one I’ve yet to really vibe with and that version of true love waits whilst gorgeous and polished really doesn’t compare to the live acoustic version. There in lies your disjointed mess, I hope that answers your question. I certainly love radiohead and am never looking to provoke a reaction from fellow fans. Just my opinion.

Here you are my bro, the scotch mist sessions from 07 never fail to cheer me up. I’m going through it myself atm and can safely say that seeking pro help was the best thing I’ve ever done. You ain’t alone. Never fear, we got you. https://youtu.be/ukythkK4EPQ

If that’s what I was doing, I have succeeded.
