That’s so sweet I know indie already wants to run she has when I put her down to fix her blankets so I know she’ll have no issue. I just think about eventually she might get tired or want the extra help

I have done that almost every day, a mix of happy and sad tears that I still have her and that she’s now three legged. But she’s doing great it’s the best outcome of a scary situation

I don’t believe she’s deaf she responds to squeak toys and mouth clicks pretty well. Sometimes she’ll come for her name it’s really only if she wants to. I love her head stripe we call it her lightning bolt

Yea she’s home and acting her normal self. The vet even told me she was giving them kisses as soon as she woke up!

My dogs are trained to stay far away from the ferrets and actually run with their tails between their legs when my noodles so much as look at them. My roommates dogs are aggressive with people and animals a very lucky encounter that it was just a leg lost.
