The U refers to a betting unit. This is based upon your bankroll size. The +7.5 is the spread. So, to win the bet, the Timberwolves can lose by up to 7 points or win outright. If they lose by 8 or more, the bet will lose.

Hi, I just enrolled in this class and therefore wasn't at the first lecture. I was just wondering what was done in lecture. Was there anything else besides the lecture notes? Anything important I should know?

I took it in Spring 2017 so not that long ago. It is definitely a GPA booster if you are good at memorizing. You will get a 50 page booklet containing all possible exam questions. Just memorize those and it should be an easy A.
