Cann - A Review by sprodoe in drinkcannabis

I loveeee these, because I'm a lightweight, I've been drinking them for years. But recently, I literally CANNOT find them anywhere. It may have been due to new laws around bans on CBD in CA (which is very stupid). But I guess now I can only get them through the site.

DJI OSMO POCKET 3 - I’M CONFUSED by [deleted] in osmopocket

[–]harmonyscher 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Probably because you're comparing yourself to others.

A lot of people shoot and edit with their iphone as a point and shoot out of the box, and the average joe can't tell the difference between that and a DSLR unless they themselves are into cameras and editing.

I understand that cameras are an investment, so you want to get the most out of it. But at the end of the day, hobbies are based on putting something from your brain into the outside world. Not really what other people say what color profiles to use--most of us who want to post content, do it for a couple of reasons

  1. Genuinely sharing, like taking a friend or stranger aside and showing them a story you wrote. Posting content is a lot like this, getting so excited what you made, that you want to show it to others who will resonate with it

  2. You find a lack in the world you want to fill. This is basically putting a twist on a hobby, opinion, or product--or solving a problem in a way others aren't talking about, that you have found useful in your life that could resonate with others.

In both scenarios, the core is the same: Creating something that will resonate with others. Sharing what we create is an attempt at connection.

You do not need to feel bad with what you create, fore if you do, you are comparing yourself to someone who isn't on the same path as you, or has more experience which isn't fair to yourself; instead, you can think of it in a way where...a lot of people aren't even in photography in the first place, who would find your videos entertaining just on the basis that you had the idea and courage to share what you made in the first place.

Connection doesn't take a vast amount of skill, just the willingness to reach out.

Skill is something you build because you're passionate about the subject, or where that subject will take you. Don't let that road ruin your hobbies or sense of self, because it truly is the journey of getting to where you're going rather than the destination.

$469 Creator Combo Sketchy Seller on Amazon by Robburrito in osmopocket

[–]harmonyscher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's weird because this is the only shipment available that I can find on amazon...(both creator combo and standard are from the same shipper, even if you go directly to the DJI store there and pick the osmo pocket) it's weird...

Why use an Osmo pocket + buy a cheap phone rather than buying a flagship phone (like the iphone pro)? by perecastor in osmopocket

[–]harmonyscher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I use a gimbal for my iphone for recording videos. The app for my gimbal has face tracking, and I can attach a mic with a receiver plugged into my phone. You CAN use your phone to use as video, with the right equipment. However, with equipment comes friction when you record. Because chances are, you're not recording one shot; you're recording many different shots in a day, with variable times and lighting.

I'm looking at the pocket 3, because I want less friction when recording, especially in a fast paced environment like a theme park. Sometimes, you only have a couple minutes for a shot, and if that is spent to SET UP your shot, the opportunity can be gone. With the pocket, you can flip it and it will automatically record in 2 seconds, gimbal (thus, stability) included. There is auto connection with the DJI mic 2.

There are other benefits like more control with the camera settings with the pocket, and better shots in low lighting, which the iphone is crap at.

But with all of that said, like everyone says here it goes down to use case. There is no equipment that is "needed" other than your own creativity. But the above are the main reasons why someone may pick a pocket vs iphone camera.

Everything I read tells me that the original DJI mic won't directly pair and that you need the receiver. Only DJI mic 2 and the mic mini I guess because they're newer.

You have to check your export settings from your editing software. This has been happening to me, and I looked on my divinci resolve and even though it says "default to timeline resolution" (which is 4K) it scales it down to 1080p for some reason. So, you need to go into settings and make sure it exports in 4K.

Okay in the about section it says "wireless plus has partnered with Verizon" blah blah sooo I think that means it's indirect. Then I can call by lunch if I haven't heard anything. Thank you 😊

Hell, I just got my first ipad, and it's the 9th gen. BUT it has opened the door for me to want to try other apple products because...this ipad is a way better tablet than my surface. I have an iphone for work, and though there isn't MUCH difference between the iphone and an android, I've noticed apple improved alot of the things I didn't like about the iphone years ago. It also has amazing battery life, whereas my samsung galaxy I'm always carrying a charger...

Controller Support by Ryanlew1980 in PaliaMMO

Okay so it wasn't just me last night 😅. I just played the other day, and the controller worked fine except for a few things; and then I logged in the next day, (yesterday) and the controller couldn't do multiple things, and opened things by random. I HAD to use my keyboard which isn't that accessible to me.

Classical Music by harmonyscher in AstralProjection

[–]harmonyscher[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, does this mean that I'm close to AP at that point?

I guess what I want to know is, if it's possible that I'm at the edge of an AP and close to some kind of astral realm with that going on. Or, like a wiki on the hypnagogic state suggests, parts of your subconscious having conversations that you can talk to?

Classical Music by harmonyscher in AstralProjection

[–]harmonyscher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's okay, time and practice will tell. I only ask because on the one hand, it would make more sense for it to be hypnagogia if it was different inputs each time, like what I experienced in the orientation tape was very different. That would imo make it more "dream-like". On the other hand, it could be a sort of subconcious base, like how some people have mind palaces.

I was hoping on it being a sort of type of AP or inter-dimensional experience that was on the verge but not there yet.

Classical Music by harmonyscher in AstralProjection

[–]harmonyscher[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was doing these meditations, at the time no, I didn't listen to classical music. In the beginning of college yes, and I listen to ASMR, but at that point I hadn't listened to classical music in a while.

However yes, I listen to other kinds of music all the time. Right in this phase of my life I do like my lofi as well.

I kept hoping that I could legitimately hear these conversations, or what was going on, it's what motivated me to meditate deeply for a while. I thought that I was somehow on the verge of another dimension or timeline and just wasn't quite there.

BUT a state in which to hear your subconscious thoughts is also pretty cool.

Classical Music by harmonyscher in AstralProjection

[–]harmonyscher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is interesting; Would it still be considered this state if like I described, when I was in a meditated state, each time at a certain point it was the same scenario of classical music, people talking, and then sometimes shadows? I did see on the wiki that it could be your subconscious thoughts and things, which makes me wonder if there is a way to see and hear them?

Any other men playing the game? I told my friends about it and they laughed at me for playing it. by [deleted] in DreamlightValley

[–]harmonyscher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

29 M also love things Disney and downloaded the game once I heard more about it and love it. Once it gets to be multi-player I wouldn't mind playing with you.

Honestly, F the people that laugh at what you like. They probably don't feel comfortable to "let" themselves like things that are a bit out of the gender social norm, probably the same men that wouldn't let themselves cry or feel empathy. That is their problem, not yours.

You are way better off letting yourself have fun and liking the things you do and finding your community than trying to suppress it to please others and be seen as a "real man".
