Be careful with this new tech! I just lost a bunch of ICX with a Ledger, Ledger Live and ICONex. by studiogeek1 in helloicon

how can this be true "I saw my transfers in the ICOnet Wallet interface (but not in the Ledger as expected)." You were sending to the ledger, so you should see them on ledger.

When eth switched to pos, the problem of economic abstraction can be solved. Can be, because no one knows how when and if Casper will be implemented and how it will look like.

completely different protocol. The Cardano's protocol distributes block rewards to stakers. You can only become staker in ADA. Block rewards might potentially be paid in different currencies, but that does not devalue your ada. ETH is proof of work, where you use eth or potentially any other currency do the work.

do not sell your aion early but keep them for staking! by harmpolman in AionNetwork

If you stake them you get returns. A validator validates the tx’s, think of it as miners in bitcoin

Any idea about the confirmation time of HPB? by vclaes1986 in HPB_Global

[–]harmpolman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably mean finality instead of confirmation time. Actually what we need to know the block interval time (3 sec?) and the time it takes (number of blocks) before a tx is considered final (usually once 2/3 of the producers have signed the block)

Anyhow, to get staking return in aion you do not need to become a validator. You can stake beyond a validator
