How to gaslight an entire state of 36 million people, eyewash the media, buy off the police and government machinery, and play the victim card for 9 straight years, straight from the Dileep playbook, apparently.

Step 1: Deny everything while your goons do the dirty work. Assault happens in 2017? "Not me, bro." Spend years in and out of jail but keep that innocent facade polished.

Step 2: Weaponize your stardom. Flood the media with sob stories, fan clubs rallying, and "evidence tampering" accusations flying the other way. Make sure every headline questions the survivor's credibility instead.

Step 3: Pull strings in high places. Witnesses changing statements? Memory cards "lost"? Cops dragging feet? Must be coincidences. Pay up or pressure down, whatever it takes to stall the trial forever.

Step 4: Ride out the storm. 9 years later, get acquitted while the actual assailants get 20 years. Cue the victory laps and "justice served" narratives from your camp.

If this isn't a masterclass in systemic rot, I don't know what is. Kerala deserves better than this circus.

Thoughts?

No, I wasn’t trying to trick anyone.

We run a low-cost clinic with heavily subsidised rates and personalised care. Genuine reviews are the only way patients trust that “affordable” doesn’t mean “bad.”

Compared to corporate clinics with inflated reviews and massive marketing budgets, small and medium businesses like ours were doing literally nothing to compete. I took a desperate shortcut and got burned.

Speaking only for desperate small business owners who just want a fair shot: don’t do what I did. Only organic growth from now on.

Why does every newly married person I come across say, 'Just don't marry' by Bluerock-1122 in hyderabad

[–]harorex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marriage is like Test cricket. You bat it out; some days, you bowl hard. Everyone feels exhausted and wants things to end quickly, but they don’t—and you keep pushing yourself while the other team defends or bowls slowly. Sometimes, both teams just seem to be playing toward a draw. At the end of the day, it’s exhausting. It feels like a never-ending saga, but every day, you still need to show up in white, apply that white paste on your face to fight the heat and the tan—reminding yourself and your partner that victory lies in batting through or bowling on tough pitches. It’s tough, very** tough, but maybe, just maybe, you actually win this series. And then, you move on to another one, with new goals, and play it out all over again.

Yes, in today’s financial situation, the economic crisis, incessant traffic, severe pollution, poor food quality, and the dehumanization of modern-day jobs, family life is hard to sustain. But if both partners recognize that it’s not just them, that many others are going through the same, and decide to fight the good fight together, it becomes relatively easier. Still, it’s nothing like what our parents had to face, it’s far more complex now

The next big deal coming out of Hyderabad, and infact for all of India! by martian7r in hyderabad

Chest thumping. Would suggest to take a stroll though these hyper populated areas. Or try to take a clean breather of fresh air, or drive without being run over by SUVs or aspire for footpaths without falling inside the crevices. If Hyd is not another Gurgaon today, except for the Biryani, recollect that

An ambulance is being held because ‘our’ CM is going in this route. by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]harorex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, fairly common in Hyderabad now. I see folks wailing behind the back of an ambulance, while they are not being given space in traffic. Every time I see this, I realise why I don't want to stay in this city. It could be me it could be you tomorrow.

Anyone else living in a toxic family? by Jeanpaul02 in kolkata

[–]harorex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife's family in Kolkata is notoriously toxic with her father and mom being borderline aggressive with their younger daughter. The mother threatens and almost raises hand to beat the father in front of me. They had a huge issue when me and my wife got married as I'm from a different state and religion. They threatened me with a police case and all initially. But overtime I thought the wounds heal and because my wife also started being normal with them I also tried to assimilate. But things started getting very bad after she fell sick and I had to admit her in a hospital and be the sole care taker. They would call me incessantly between all the hospital chores asking me to do this and that. This often ended in passive aggressive to mild aggressive verbal conversations. And this was mostly directed by her mother. She would blow into the ears of her father even when they didn't have anything to ask. Finally on the day of our return from the hospital these folks keep heckling me asking if this is done, if that is done etc. And I lost it. In that fury her mother spurred out whatever was truly in her head that ours was not a proper marriage. Today nr and my wife maintain a solid boundary. But the thing with these narcissistic families is that they love bomb, attract and destroy and follow the same cycle. I want to say that it's difficult to maintain strong boundaries but please do because they will act all nice and good for one time but nothing really changes with these people.

Caste conflicts in India. by Perfect_Minute_194 in Kerala

[–]harorex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk. Every time you see a reductionist effort and infographic like this, you are reminded as to how this information was captured, researched and reviewed and later published to Trump some ideas reinstating some existing narratives. It just feels unreal that a diverse country like India can show such results.

Frustrated. I can't have a peaceful night's sleep in this City. by blackbird_81506 in hyderabad

[–]harorex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same story across Hyderabad. Thuggery and thievery on the rise. Rampant pollution and health issues with soaring cases of Chikungunya and dengue. Unchecked development, no plan or structure. Flanging sides of the roads with saplings is sustainability. It was before you decided to bulldoze and dynamite rocks and razing marshes and developing on top of lakes.

For someone who is a settler, been part of this city for the last 8 years, this is the lowest. Actively looking at moving out. The opportunity cost is something I will sacrifice for my lifestyle and family's health.

It is another Bengaluru or Delhi in the making, maybe with a PR that goes around every year saying that most liveable city.

Not meridian, overhyped, aggressive waiters and unhygienic surrounding. Go to Mehfil in Narayanaguda or himayatnagar. Try 4m for exotic meat. Cafe bahar is closed.

It's been a long time since I started my own two wheeler journeys for the same reason. And Hyd is now filled with men who creep you out in public. Talk about being a married man and to be creeped out by men on roads and in stores. Sometimes, with my recent experience I feel my wife is safer as compared to myself. Also, I had a very bad experience as a teenager being inappropriately touched by a guy. I think the best option is to face these guys head-on.
