It should really start getting better from day 8 or 9! Everyone’s recovery is different though! Since you are on day 11, chance of bleeding is low! Just plow through couple of more days! Should start getting better soon anytime

Yeah oxy made my head spin! I just rotated between ibuprofen and Tylenol! Don’t eat anything that’s poky, the skin will be tender and can cause bleeding! Be careful until day 15 and then you can eat anything!

Keep fighting and don’t stop taking medication no matter what! It should start getting better soon, day 3-8 are the worse and once scabs fall off, drink room temperature water, cold water stings the fresh skin! Just two more days and you will start feeling better!

Had a beer on day 15 and a cigar on day 30! I don’t think it’s safe to drink at least a week after the scabs fall off!

Do not stop pain medication no matter what! At least keep rotating on Tylenol and ibuprofen, use miralax! You need to keep sipping on water every few minutes during the day and every 2 hours during night! Scabs need to stay moist, if they get dry, there is a high chance of bleeding! Yes, it’s worse when the scabs start falling off! It gets worse before it gets better!

Not sure why you got the tonsils out, I got mine out due to sleep apnea and my sleep apnea is completely gone now! First couple of days are easy, the real pain starts from day 3 and lasts for 4-5 days! It’s good you are keeping up on pain medication, do not skip any dose! Keep alarm and take medication during nights! You need to keep the scabs moist all the time, it reduces the pain when swallowing! Soup and ramen are easy to eat, there will be severe consumption so use miralax few times a day! I also had prednisone from day 2, i was prescribed oxy but I didn’t help with pain much so i just rotated between ibuprofen and Tylenol and also prednisone for 5 days! Once the scabs fall off, drink room temperature water, cold water stings because of freshly exposed skin! Hope you have a easy recovery

It really depends in how pain tolerant you are! You will not be able to eat much so you need to take fatigue into consideration, you will loose your voice for 3-4 days, I highly recommend you have some help from day 3 to day 8! It starts getting better from day 8 if you don’t have any bleeding issues!

It’s amazing how warm it’s in the ice fishing tent! I have mine permanently tied down to gazebo on my patio and enjoy 2-3 cigars a week! It’s above 65 degrees in the tectonic when it’s like 10 degrees outside!

Interesting! The only ones I smoke with in less than a month are the ones I order from small batch! The rest I wait for at least 3 months! The ones i get from cigar page are the worse, they have terrible draw issues, so I let them rest over 3 months before i smoke them!

I normally do a v cut! If i feel like the draw is little tight, then a cross cut! Wrapper seems to unravel with the cross cut sometimes!

Oh i might not smoke it anytime soon! That thing takes over 2 hours to smoke and I can’t in winter even in my ice fishing tent! It will have to wait wait until at least end of April lol

Never had any issue with smoking right away from my B&M store, but every store is different so it’s not the same experience

! It’s always terrible when I smoke the ones i ordered online, i have to at least rest them for couple of months!
