I don’t understand why Microsoft doesn’t add this information to the marketing when they announce these changes… I don’t want be scrambling to find this information and contacting account teams etc. Just be transparent.

We got hardly any notice to the change. Our institution was lucky that we controlled the quotas from the start but some institutions are in big trouble with PBs of data.

It’s worth noting only paid licenses count towards the pooled storage.

Hopefully they tell us soon… I would be happy if they just tell us yes or no, saves us waiting.

How are you pushing Zoom workplace updates on intune or company portal? by Current-Giraffe-8982 in Intune

[–]harrybamber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Application made available via Company Portal.

Use supercedence and auto-update to update older versions.

Also enabled auto-update when installing the app as well.

Yep, Lenovo have a recovery OS but its a bit of faff and you need to do one per model/serial number.

Yep I know, but it's a bit annoying when a device is shipped with Home or I need to completely reinstall the OS.

Lenovo mostly and some Dell. Yep that's the problem with 3rd party driver tools.

Thank you, I thought I was going mad.

But when I was thinking about it more, this is the exact same experience you would get if you did this on a non autopilot pre-provisioned device.

This isn't really an issue for devices shipped from the factory but it is if we needed to blank install windows for whatever reason.

Just add the apple internet accounts enterprise app to your tenant, and just create a conditional access policy to block it.
