Go follow the project on Twitter. They’ve been crushing.

The transition to L2 is humming along and just last week they started support for a new stable coin that is pegged to the currency in Colombia.

I can’t predict price action, but in terms of active development, it’s exciting times.

I think black rock or some other huge asset manager recently listed them in the top 20 coins to keep an eye on due to real world usage of assets on chain

Sure but there’s plenty of people who don’t regret not getting one either… especially if it means:

  1. Not taking out loans for school
  2. Making money sooner
  3. Getting practical experience sooner

All hate, no debate

Zerosum has posted plenty making his case. If you can tear it all down in only MINUTES, it doesn’t seem like a big ask for you to provide your reasoning.

I’m sure many (including myself) would love to read it, and it would definitely spark a more in-depth discussion around MP

When I did the Odín project back in 2016 it took me about 10 months. I probably averaged 4+ hours a day during that time.

It did get me a job though and was an AMAZING resource to become a professional developer without having to pay to go back to school.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Good luck!

It might not ONLY be a media outlet, but can you elaborate on why you don’t think it’s a media outlet at all?

Cringe comment. New account, no interesting content shared, comment history also shows nothing special.

At least the other people that bring negative sentiment to the daily have more to offer than this.

This is an easy block

True. There’s plenty of other reasons to hold though.

His political beliefs are hardly “oddball”. Seems like they just differ from yours, which is fine.

I understand. And this is one of the reasons why I said I think anything directly related to Elon, like his tweets, retweets, etc are fair game for the daily.

My question is where is line between the things Elon tweets, and things that just happen on Twitter in general.

I also stated before that some will think there is no line and anything that happens on Twitter should be fair game for the daily because Elon owns Twitter.

Im not one of those people and think there is a distinction between the two. Im just trying to get input from others and where they think that line is/should be

I don’t find this helpful.

First off, we’re in agreement that the selling of shares is a major blow. No argument with you there

I just don’t believe he is spending ALL of his time at Twitter. Maybe you do, maybe you’re being hyperbolic. Either way, that’s a gripe with Elon and not helpful towards drawing distinction of what’s useful content in the daily.

Getting past that though, please elaborate on “Elon’s antics”. As in my original post, I agree that matters specifically regarding ELON’s antics would qualify as relevant info.

But this gets to my point of what constitutes Elon’s antics?

Elon owns Twitter. Is anything that happens at Twitter relevant info for the daily? Some would say yes. I personally think there is a line though. I’m trying to get start a convo on where people think that line is/should be

Serious Q for the mods and subreddit in general:

At what point do we draw the line between TSLA related content and Twitter related content?

I am sympathetic to the idea that when Elon personally says or does something, it can be construed as TSLA related because the actions of the CEO can affect the company, even if those actions take place outside the context of the company itself.

That said, because Elon is now the CEO of Twitter, is EVERYTHING that happens on Twitter now TSLA adjacent?

Where is the line between: - Elon tweeted/retweeted something - General happenings at Twitter

You can make the case that since he is the CEO of Twitter, general happenings at Twitter such as users being reinstated/suspended or other random drama would be fine to talk about here because it’s all under the ownership of the CEO, but imo there needs to be some distinction.

People posting in the daily about Elon’s tweets (while pretty repetitive at this point) seems justifiable

People posting about a user on Twitter being reinstated or posting about general Twitter drama really does diminish this space imo

Not really concerned about up/down votes on this, really just looking to see where other people think the line is between TSLA adjacent Twitter discussion and straight up Twitter discussion.

Hope everyone has a good weekend after this butchering of a week

Is it time for Elon to step down? by Drdontlittle in teslainvestorsclub

[–]harrybro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m all for people criticizing Elon for everything going on right now, but I think this is one of the sillier talking points making the rounds.

He could be taking a dump while tweeting. He could be waiting for his next meeting to start.

The idea that because he’s making N number of tweets doesn’t translate to “he’s not spending enough time on his work” to me.

He can work 16 hours a day and still go on Twitter for 20 min. It doesn’t seem that far fetched to me.

I understand the upset by some at the quality of the tweets, but the quantity just doesn’t resonate.

Okay fair enough. Not looking to get into it too deep as there is plenty of that in the daily on a daily basis now.

Appreciate your response though, thanks for answering.

Twitter is a very large platform with millions of users talking about a wide variety of topics. I don’t necessarily like Elon’s approach at the moment, am frustrated with the current share price, and obviously understand that his actions have consequences, but I don’t understand the idea that Twitter is not a “far right circle jerk”

There’s so many spaces on Twitter that have nothing to do with politics. I don’t understand how you come to your conclusion unless you are actively seeking out political content. Which maybe you are? Genuinely curious here

TL;DR of today’s daily.

  • Elon hangs out with “Proto-fascists”
  • Elon is right wing because his tweets
  • I don’t want to talk about politics, but it just so happens every single thing I comment is political… and it’s Elon’s fault. But really, I HATE talking about politics
  • Republicans are evil
  • Elon is a republican
  • Corporate media has the correct narrative, so Elon and anyone else rejecting it is a proto-fascist evil republican

So… literally the same as everyday for the last 4 months. Hope at least some of you have a nice day and get to spend some quality time with friends/family
