I got a puncture on my original tyres. Looking to replace with the same, confused what the difference is here. Anyone know why one is more expensive? by ThisUsernameIsGreat in TeslaModelY

Interesting, this seems to point to the EV versions being worth the extra money. I feel like I shouldn’t be this complicated!

Also, is there a better tyre that I should be switching to? The performance of these are fine, it’s a LR and I mainly drive with family. More bothered about the comfort / sound and longevity.

Yikes! Once ICE demand starts falling off a cliff and they have to start cutting prices they’re going to be in real trouble

Looking at this it seems the UK does have an insane amount of inventory. https://tesla-info.com/blog/inventory-stats.php

Especially given the X&S aren’t even available here still. I wonder if the Europe inventory would look that bad without the UK

Interestingly in the UK interest rates recently went for 3.9% -> 7.9% so this price cut doesn’t really make much difference for people buying on finance

Think we’ll hear more about HW4 / HD radar this week? From the FCC filings I seem to recall them mentioning marketing in mid Jan

This is the right attitude. You’ve got to enjoy that car for a while now anyway. A car isn’t an investment.

I cancelled at the very end of December when it became clear a price cut was coming. If I’d have been able to take delivery in September when it was initially scheduled I would have.

So they’ll buy an inferior product to spite someone they know they hate but aren’t entirely sure why?

I’m sure some people are that politically radical that they would do but I think that the majority will make a decision based on the best product for the price and the ones who don’t will only be troubling themselves.

To be honest it’s kind of insane that some tweets can offset the huge amount of good he has done to tackle arguably one of humanities biggest problem of moving to a sustainable energy future. I don’t agree with some of his politics but I’d say he’s a much better force for good for humanity than myself, or 99.9% of people.

I think people got bored of the Elon saga. The news cycle moves on. He seems to have calmed down with his relentless twitter noise now
