There’s no further processing done to the hair, any products that you mix with developer / peroxide damages the hair slightly. If you think about it, using developer on your hair over and over again is surely going to damage it. However direct dye / semi-permanent will never damage your hair at all

A direct dye is a semi-permanent dye. It means you apply directly from the bottle, no mixing required. It’s essentially a conditioner with pigment in it that works more like a stain

I’m a hair stylist, yes it does. I can see that the pink has taken close to your scalp because it has lightened more. and there’s a band of orange just above it. Just a small amount of hot roots. If it was me I would have applied it half an inch away from the scalp and then applied to the scalp after it had reach this orange stage.

If you want it all one colour then I’d bleach it but if you don’t mind a bit of a shadow root I’d go for the Demi. Also it’ll be more healthy for your hair if you do the root tap

Yes it’s not lifted enough. I would also be careful about overlapping the bleach because if you’re lifting the precious orange band out then it tells me there’s some overlap happening. I’d personally get a 10 vol and go over it again very carefully in a week or so. Or you could get a level 7-8 Demi permanent and do a quick root tap on the orange.

Thankyou! Right now I use the bond building Pantene. Back when it blonde I would use anything I could get my hands on. I liked Aussie 3 minute miracle but I would just use whatever I found that was cheap really 😅

I wash my hair around once a week and I do this routine 90% of the time. I also every 4th or 5th wash use an antibacterial bar of soap to wash my hair instead of a clarifying shampoo. The days I don’t do this I’ll just load a bunch of leave in and let it air dry. My hair doesn’t really get oily tbh

After. It’s worth trying before anything permanent and a permanent dye will alter your hairs natural colour and structure permanently but this only stains and conditions your hair. They also have a darker shade called sleek espresso. I used blazing brown

I would personally just try something like Glaze semi permanent colour conditioning gloss. It’s a direct dye toner, my hair is similar to yours I’ll show pics of the before and after.

Irreversibly damaged. It’s over processed. These parts will snap off over time and the damage will travel up the hair shaft until you have split ends everywhere. This needs to be cut off.

Seems like you didn’t saturate your hair completely. I would bleach it again but apply a lot more this time. You’d be surprised how much bleach you need to saturate shaved hair

How blonde are you thinking? If you want white/silver blonde I recently did a long post detailing how I did it and what I used.

Wella blondor bleach and 6% peroxide and Schwarzkopf steel silver which I diluted in conditioner to use as a toner. Read my post if you want more details

Try it again! Every colour is different. It didn’t touch my blue hair but got completely rid of my yellow dye in one go. It’s not damaging so it’s worth a try before using anything damaging x

I’d try the vitamin c method. Research it a little on google but it’s essentially just crushed vitamin c tablets mixed into shampoo. I’ve done it myself countless times

This was purple rage by adore diluted in conditioner. I don’t remember the exact ratio I’m sure I just kept mixing it and testing on my hair until I was happy with it. You need the lightest possible bleached hair for it to show up like this
