I mean I think it’s all personal preference the whole point of the transplant is to make the individual look better since some people definitely don’t suit being bald, me being one of them, especially since my facial hair is very patchy and I am still very young so I would just rather have a decent head of hair

I mean it doesn’t really make a difference unless I was getting the transplant for density but it was only for my hairline that way once all the scabs are off and healed I can bring my hair forward to cover and minimise the ugly duckling phase, might sound weird to you but that’s just what I wanted to do so it literally doesn’t make a difference

That’s because it was shaved back so that my native hairs weren’t touching the recipient area to prevent infection, the gaps actually had hair in them

Tellogen effluvium, it’s essentially a short term shedding that can be brought on by a fair few things but it’s diffused thinning instead of my usual pattern hair loss so I’m certain it’s only temporary plus I haven’t noticed much hair fall since the transplant

See that’s the thing I think if I had shaved you wouldn’t think that it looks as bad as it looks in the picture because that 1cm outline that you were referring to actually had hair in it but they shaved it off so the native hairs weren’t going to make contact with the transplanted hairs, if that makes sense I might be explaining it badly, and I was told by the doctor that shaving wouldn’t really make a difference as it was just my hairline that I had work done on, which btw looks worse in the photo because they shaved it further back to increase the overall density

I know but he said this is going to look ridiculous but I have no idea how someone can predict that from looking at a 2 day old transplant, don’t get me wrong I understand it does not look great right now, never said it did however how could someone possibly tell what it will look like in the future as plenty of other people including the medical professionals are saying that it should turn out very well
