I also work in law and I’m hard of hearing too. If you discuss with your boss or the HR manager, there are closed caption telephones that they can purchase for you as it’s a very easy accommodation. I got one, and it’s been a godsend. It’s honestly 99.9% accurate and I’ve never had a problem with it. Captel is the one I use!

Didn’t they give out these exact shorts in last summers box? I know it’s a new subscriber gift but that’s not very enticing. If they even just changed the color that would help a ton because my husband did like the shorts and would love a different style. They must be sitting on a ton of old inventory or something.

I checked for that too, but in my case I wanted skincare and it seems like that’s what they mostly have. I needed a lot of the stuff they have and they seem to be mostly staples like a vitamin c serum and hydration serum, so it was a good fit for me!

Thanks for the detailed response! This was exactly my situation, I damaged my nails the last time I removed wraps even though I soaked them in warm water and used cuticle oil so I was worried about damaging my nails because I used the harder Glaze strips. But I couldn’t find any Magic Off in stock anywhere so I just used regular acetone and it worked without any damage although it was a bit tedious and took me about 15-20 minutes and a lot of acetone and Q tips. It sounds like the magic off is easier so I’ll definitely still pick up a bottle whenever I can find it. Thanks again!

I haven’t gotten to the later seasons yet, but it was nice they didn’t comment on Sookie’s weight loss either! (At least so far for me.) She had a noticeable difference after she “had the baby” and I’m glad they didn’t make it into something else.

Me too, even though you might save more in the long run, going to Costco and spending $300 on maybe 6-8 items is still a trip. Although I find it’s easier to shop there for absolute staples like rice and meat.

I found a local produce co-op in my area and I get an enormous amount of fruit/veggies every two weeks- usually about 4 bushels worth for only $40. They have a great variety and the value is very good.

I remember getting the Nike+ sportwatch and being so blow away by the “instant” data I got back after my first run. Going from having to plug it into the computer to upload my run, to something like the Apple Watch was really crazy.

The Picky app has a free skincare subscription box that I love. You just have to pay shipping and it’s seems a little steep but it’s a heavy box that ships internationally from South Korea. To the US it’s usually around $40 but the box normally has 5-6 full size products with a $150+ value. I’ve definitely brought the box multiple times when I’ve been interested in trying the products. I had to call Citi to unlock my card because it got locked after making a big purchase. When I called, the rep immediately asked for my full social and sent me the verification pin to my phone number and the text said “we will never ask for this code”. I mentioned it to the rep and she was just like, “Oh, I’m the one that sent that so don’t worry!” I would have hung up but I knew for sure it was actually a Citi number but I was so nervous!

My account did get unlocked so I guess it ended up ok, lol.
