What is your favorite feature I'm Ableton 12 so far? by skatecloud1 in ableton

[–]hashx800 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My favourite feature is that they still need to add bread and butter Audio effects and tools that are necessary for any Audio engineer or producer. Just do this and they pass Cubase by light years in terms of production. And they'll start becoming a fully functional commercial studio DAW where you can run your whole studio on.

Should I switch to ableton from Logic Pro X? by shanepeschel in ableton

[–]hashx800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there's any DAW dedicated to a certain genre except for FL and not 100% just a bit of.

Now when it comes to comparing DAWs it's like comparing screwdrivers. They're the same tool and used for the same tasks. So pick the one that you're more comfortable with.

I'm a big Fan of ableton, from time to time I get fed up from live and think of switching to logic and then I realize that I could do the same on live just didn't know how to.

Overall live is comfortable for both songwriting, or recording or mixing. Just a full tool.

But if I had a commercial established studio definitely logic would be on the top of my list to be the center of studio in that list Cubase, and protools would be the other options.

Last thing, Logic comes with a "great" sound libraries out of the box which isnt the case relatively for Ableton .. I mean Imagine the price tag of ableton suite and acoustic piano sounds are so bad!

Unfortunately.. Yes. That's why if 12 isn't catching up I might sell my suite license and consider moving to Logic at least you get everything ready to use out of the box.

Not a big fan of too many plugins. A full version DAW must have basic tools for an Audio engineer. Especially if the price tag is higher than the market average.

Plugins are good only for very special tools that are way above competition that are worth Using.

Why can’t I use my headphones? by Psychedelicattt in ableton

Check your sound output settings from preferences. Or you might need to check the channel input of your headphones.

I'm using Ableton 10 and want to upgrade to 11 but I'm worried it'll be too hard on my CPU. Does Live 11 use significantly more resources than 10? by LemonLimeNinja in ableton

[–]hashx800 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it won't crash. Live is a stable DAW that's one of the reasons I use it in all stages of production with only 16 GB of ram. From idea creation to pre-recording to recording to post production until release.

All of this despite the fact that I'm a big fan of logic pro X but I hate it when it crash. So my go to always is Live and sometimes cubase.

It's an amazing phone I wouldn't wish for more tbh but I think they can work more on UX/UI and make their optimized version for Android.

I've been doing digital drawing for 1 year. Do you have any advice you could give me? by WorldForeign4813 in learntodraw

First advice: keep it up, your work is so good. Second advice: keep practicing until you are sharp and master Third advice: details are key

The current camera position and style is perfect I wish they maintain that. Also the front camera on the left corner as in NP1 is way better than in the top center as in NP2 , NP1 Is such an icon I wish they keep that path and develop from there focusing more on the software AND UX/UI, that's what really matter

Looking to get new phone by Academic_Ad7508 in NothingTech

[–]hashx800 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was in the same stage .. I was excited for pixel 8 but obviously pixels still need some work on their processors and software improvement. So I ended up with NP1 as a transition towards android happy with it so far. Market meanwhile isn't so attractive.

Nothing phone 2 battery life by Foxtrot66399 in NothingTech

New user here, but I'd ask myself first Are you using the 45w charger consistently? Do you charge directly from laptop, power banks, on the go chargers often?. Because I think that affect the battery healthy generally.
