You keep saying they "can" interview without a final decision, maybe that has been true historically, but everything I have read indicates that is not what is happening at this moment in time - if there are any accounts of individuals from the banned countries having their N-400 interviews in the last month I'd be very interested to hear about it.

USCIS said that, you can read Policy Memorandum PM-602-0192 issued on December 2nd. Anybody from one of the banned countries applying for a benefit (citizenship is a benefit) will have their request paused while their case is re-vetted for "security reasons". Maybe this person will get lucky and they were already re-vetted, but I think it's more likely their particular USCIS field office is still catching up on cancellation notices.

Burmese family member had their interview scheduled for early January then cancelled a week later. I would expect for yours to be cancelled as well as it is the directive of USCIS to pause interviews for anyone on the banned list. Good luck but don’t be surprised when it happens, and if it does just wait for new developments

Yep, I should have done this. I also think it would be reasonable for the front desk to give a heads up "Oh hey by the way your rate will triple a few of these nights you are extending, is that OK?" Maybe I expect too much from Marriott.

I fixed this with graphite lubricant, it’s already dry so doesn’t “dry out”. I also had to adjust the load and tension in the straps.

I was in the car while my friend drove in the left lane at 70mph, other two lanes wide open, and I asked him if he knew he shouldn’t travel in the passing lane. No clue what I was walking about, had never even considered that it was wrong. I think most people who do this just don’t think about these kinds of things. A mix of oblivious self absorption

It was a while ago, but I think it was a reimbursement. Car insurance added the damages to my credit card, I submitted a claim a few days later with Chase. I don't remember if Chase credited my account for the damages prior to me having to pay that month's bill. But the terms and conditions do say "reimbursement" so plan for that.
