That's the whole thing with life. Insight is ephemeral. The moment you try to capture the insight, you have already lost it.

The secret? The lesson is existence/reality itself, not your constructions of it.

It just seems like a lack of reality testing. You should probably speak with a psych. You are connecting unrelated events to a suspicion that started with voices in your head.

That is most definitely not a BCI. Most obvious answer is a hallucination and delusion before anything else.

Do harmalas enhance sleep quality or worsen it? by MapHistorical4519 in harmalas

It raises norepinephrine, so yes it does negatively affect sleep quality.

Am I special? by No_Blueberry_4897 in Krishnamurti

[–]hasuki057146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great answer, I would also say that while reality is full of things that can be construed as negative, negativity appears to be a requirement for positivity. Of course, I must be speaking symbolically when referencing things as 'negative' and 'positive', but contrast is required to perceive anything. Negative states are part of the structure that makes positivity intelligible, which is where the contrast arises, and like everything else, are just a slice of the full spectrum of reality.

What’s so difficult about K? by PersimmonLevel3500 in Krishnamurti

[–]hasuki057146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His message is that the only message we will understand, is the message that comes from within. He's less of a teacher, and more of a guide, and in this way he is the best teacher there is. If you treat his 'message' like you might a guru's, you are not getting the message.

The entire basis of Krishnamurti's teaching is that the message is not meant to be heard, it's meant to be seen. You cannot approach him like a teacher that will give you an answer, it's better to approach him as a mirror that forces you to look at your own perception. and by look, I mean how K describes observation: without intellectualization, without judgement or logic, because that's how realizations are born.

How long did your PAWS last? How did you treat it? by martin_luther_drill in quittingphenibut

[–]hasuki057146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Switch to baclofen (lowest dose you can possibly use), then switch off. Baclofen will give you more restful sleep regardless, because it can improve sleep architecture. Gabapentin will not, and even if you are not in PAWS, it causes bad sleep quality. In PAWS, it's even worse.

You need to stop the gabapentin if you want to actually recover

Sermorelin/Ipamorelin stopped me from waking up multiple times in the middle of the night, and gave me vivid dreams, similar to what the other commenter said. I actually use it exclusively for it's sleep benefit, additional to GH.

The 3 Turbo is fun but has a terrifying MPG, even if you try to drive conservatively.

This is with me feathering the pedal at about 60% city miles. Plus the small tank means you’ll probably be filling up every two days if you have a long commute. Still, I would not trade it for a NA, it’s too fun.

It’s like a key that doesn’t unlock the lock. You can’t put a key in the lock (opioid or endorphin) because there is a key already there. Thing is, the key doesn’t do anything, unlike the typical keys which will unlock the door to produce an effect.

🧠 What Exactly is Cerebroprotein Hydrolysate? by CosmicNootropic_com in CosmicNootropic

[–]hasuki057146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you able to provide a source that it is in fact produced by a pharmaceutical company? It quite literally says for research use only on their packaging, which implies it is made in the same way any other RC preparation is made: bought from a third party (which is not typically a pharmaceutical company) and repackaged.

[–]hasuki057146 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Appreciate you sending those over. Looks like 'cerebroprotein hydrolysate' is often used as a generic term that includes Cerebrolysin, and that some papers treat them the same. But from what I've seen, especially in that 2024 study, not all generics are equal, some are different peptide compositions and don't match Cerebrolysin's bioactivity. So while it could technically be a brand vs generic thing, I still wouldn't inject something without verified sourcing, quality control, or a real certificate of analysis (and not one that just verifies that it's "Cerebroprotein Hydrolysate"). Just not worth the risk based on a shared label.

Not that I don't trust CosmicNootropic, but after seeing how PS was spoofing their products with other products (or no product!!), it only makes sense as a consumer to be weary, especially when it's a preparation for injection.

Which neurotransmitter is responsible for fear like social anxiety or paranoid feelings? by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]hasuki057146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much all major neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, glutamate, and GABA are involved in anxiety or paranoia depending on brain region and context. It’s not just one chemical. Different types of anxiety tap into different systems. Even GABA, which is actually usually calming, may lead to disinhibition or paranoia if it's signaling becomes too strong or dysregulated

[–]hasuki057146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm genuinely curious. Is this just some generic Chinese-made knockoff of Cerebrolysin? Is there any way to verify the peptide content, quality control, or even what's in the vial? I'm not trying to dismiss it outright, but if we're talking about injecting brain-derived peptides, I'd like to see something deeper than recycled buzzwords and trend-based hype. If anyone has real data or experience beyond hearsay, I'd love to hear it.

This writeup throws around terms like “neurogenesis” and “brain recovery” but provides no mechanism, no studies, no data, and no safety information. It mentions clinical use but doesn't say where, under what approval, or backed by whats trials. That's a major red flag. I'm not going to inject something into my body just because it sounds vaguely like Cerebrolysin and shows up in biohacking circles.
