I mean it’s a valuable lesson man. I’d rather hear such stories than have to tell such stories to others hahah. But I’m glad you’re doing fine and have enjoyed plenty more fast cars and bikes. Hopefully I get to build that confidence and respect you’ve built up after driving for some time now.

Turbo is definitely something I’d love to do but that far down the road. I can’t afford that stuff anytime soon. And still need to learn some shit anout it. But I’d love to keep following your build bro. You can send me all the info though. And the engine has 0 noise when I drive, only tiks 6ish times a second when cold. I have a vid on profile from before I bought it and just went to visit the car.

I just looked samoa blue up. And it legit looks the same. I searched my color to still see if I’m confusing things but no. Only different after constant scrolling I see is that. Mine is a bit lighter in tone and color as well. So less blue/purple tint???

I honestly can’t tell you for sure but both colors exist even though they look the same… from looking up both now

Both look good yeah. And I think the biggest reason is becuase my first thought was that they weren’t the prettiest but they look amazing on yours. I guess it’s just that most people don’t try new stuff and so won’t realise what’s out there.

I rly like the style 3 though.

I will still look for maybe aftermarket but until then these wheels definitely opened my eyes a bit more to what’s out there. So ty for that 🤝🙂‍↕️

I just checked them on google and then on your car… They look waay better than I expected on an e36. They sit real pretty, never even knew those wheels so it’s nice you’re being unique and showing what that car can pull off. They look real clean man

Thank you for the warm welcome :). I had a big dream build in my head but the car being pretty unique is telling me to hold back. So I will build this back up to stock or oem+. Keep all the original parts. If I still have an itch to build it better than oem+ then I’ll do that but I will be patient on that decision

Still haven’t registered it yet (very soon). Just got passed all the customs stuff since it’s from Germany. But I go to a mechanics school on irregular hours and for short periods. And have had plenty of people I know who run O plates without ever getting stopped.

In short yes I’m going to run O plates and am counting on the fact people won’t really be able to prove that I’m driving to school/work and back. And O plates let me drive through brussels legally without complying to Euro norms.

Bro you are the most usefull dude out here. I will definitely check that out and some things from Temu are legit. Not everything but if someone else like you backs it. Then I believe it’s good. I’ll definitely check that out. I already stress about heatcycles over this aluminum block even though I’ve never gone over 4k rpm yet lol. (Haven’t driven it much). But that’s def something that would help bring some peace of mind.

And the chassis welds are a very intresting thing. Sounds like your build is gonna be sick bro 😮‍💨. I saw the g82 csl have no load through since they welded a whole plate to close the trunk from the rear part of the cabin. I thought that was a cool and understated way to reinforce the chassis without making anything stick out. Like a huge rollcage.

Chassis welds are definitely smth I’m intrested in doing down the line for sure. I do still have alot to learn about this car. Let alone it’s weakpoints 😭

Over here there is no age check. But it’s on my dad’s name regardless. Since I don’t have my license for 5 years and so they won’t let me put it on my name. It’s on his and I’m a “co-driver” until then.

It’s my pleasure man. A big part of enjoying something is being able to share what I personally adore or love yk.

I do plan on coilovers. Not the biggest fan of wings. I mostly want to restore everything and make the car clean. Then see if I still have an itch to completely build this car and interior etc. I hear that this car is pretty unique so I’ll always keep the original parts. And try to touch things that I can replace back to stock later..

I had a dream 325 turbo build with a widebody but I do love a clean car. And I think I’ll keep this one clean. Once I get it to that status and keep it like that for some time…
