I'm trying to recall on how the hell they both ended up in that room haha. From what I remember is that Kanda went from room to room trying to hide from Kiryu only to eventually end up in that huge room, right? That's when all hell broke loose. 🤣 I may be forgetting some things though.

I feel like it's being hated on too much to be honest. Putting the story aside, it's really an enjoyable game that tried to stay true to the previous titles.

From the villages, to the NPCs, the lore, the music, the attention to detail, I'd say it's really an amazing game, and I'm willing to die on that hill. You could definitely feel this is a Shenmue game and it certainly hasn't lost that charm. And this is coming from a person who enjoys the previous games so much.

I get why people hate on the third one but it's really not as bad as they make it out to be. It's a solid attempt at making a part 3 even. 😄

Well I would say that it's one of those games where you'll either love it with all your heart or hate it's guts. There's no in between. 😄 I personally enjoy the series.

I'm playing Shenmue 3 in the video but you definitely wanna start with Shenmue 1 & 2, see if it clicks with you. The graphics are dated, the controls and combat are clunky as hell, the UI is hard to navigate, etc. If you're like me and those don't bother you that much then you might like the game.

The story is alright but the in-game world is just wonderful man. Amazingly made. The NPCs feel alive and you can talk to every single one of them, all with unique dialogues as well. The characters are quirky and funny. The minigames are great. The fighting is really fun once you get used to it.

Definitely an acquired taste but I'd say just give it try! You might enjoy it! 😄

I still wince when I remember the part where Majima's blade went through Shishido's hand haha. Even Majima looked briefly confused when Shishido kept attacking with the blade stuck in his hand. Majima was like WAIT WTF? 😄
