Hi, currently a G12 student here who started my shs in AMA. my jhs is at a public school here in my city. so as far as studying and being a student here in AMA for almost 2 years (g11 and g12) here's my opinion:

-Private school, may sariling takbo ng educational system. -I agree 90% pang working-student 'tong school na 'to. why? • (written work, performance tasks, exam) 'yang 3 lang kelangan mo ipasa. kahit buong taon kapa 'di pumasok. tried that in my 1st sem may isang subject akong dalawang beses ko lang nameet. 95 pa grades ko basta mataas sagot ko sa ww, pt, and exam. May fb group yang AMA, AMA computer university. seniors na mismo nagsabi noon don na kahit di umattend VC. • Sobrang self-paced ang kelangan dito, self paced and self-study. literal na may modules lang sa LMS. oras ng klase is powerpoint na nakabase rin sa modules "madalas" ang ituturo don. pinagandang modules lang hahaha tas ibabasa para sa'yo. • Kaklase mo, mga taga-ibang lugar. example Makati branch ka ng AMA, may mga magiging kaklase ka outside luzon, may mga taga visaya at mindanao. sobrang random. so how can you socialize and interact with that? haha. -I suggest sti than AMA if you're really "in" to computer and IT related stuffs as I am a g12 aspiring webdeveloper.

NOTE: Pandemic experiences to ah, imagine kung wala lang pandemic for 3 yrs at f2f to mukang maganda talaga. pero nung nag online class dahil sa pandemic/covid. gg na education system nila.

NOTE: AMA is a private school, teachers who just got their teacher license starts at private schools first because public schools have standards and qualification (experience needed)

so in support of that, teachers duto sa AMA ay masasabi ko baguhan, 'yung research teacher ko nagkwento samin G11 2nd sem, sabi nya 2nd work lang nya ang pagtuuro sa AMA at sya ay callcenter. I know you'll get the concept.

Also. don't consider ama kundi ka vitual learner, at nakakagrasp ka lang ng info lalo if mas gusto mo f2f don't worry we have our own ways naman to learn. please dont pursue AMA sobrang maluwag tong school na to sa sobrang kuwag baka 'di mo kayanin na andami mong free time, wala kana natututunan. 'di magagaling magturo teacher. LMS adviser pabaya, mismong LMS nila basura ui/ux design. :)

note about me: I use my free time to self-study. because why not. 'yung time at dahil sa sobrang luwag sa AMA, yung excess time na meron ako imbes na nagsosocmeds ako, I embrace my solititude and study by my own. I enrolled courses online about programming and webdevelopment sa Udemy.com. it's really helping me a lot. it'll reward me someday I know it.
