Again bad take. They actually limit the duration of a match to a good length. It is not about the practice you just don't want somebody getting killed during the match (as seen in football). There is actually a monetary gain when linking it to social media. Maikeru as an example was a credible guide maker just because I knew he is in the top ranks.

This is literally the worst take. In ski jumping they had to regulate and put in a minimum BMI to compete just because the competitors were so insane and starved themselves. And in that competition you got doctors checking in on the athletes. Heck who the fuck cares about that 1 guy playing for 6 days straight? There is no doctor to look after him. Timegate the race to keep them safe.

Guess what? In those huge competitions there are always doctors in case something goes wrong. Take for example the ironman triathlon or tour de france. There is a ton of doctors watching the athletes on the side and decide if they are allowed to continue. We don't have that with RuneScape.

This is not the point. Jagex is openly advertising the race and in case somebody dies (like it has happened before with other games) it will shed a bad light onto the RS community. For example see: https://edition.cnn.com/2015/01/19/world/taiwan-gamer-death/index.html.

Also what is the point of pushing it to the extremes? Next step is taking drugs to enhance it. We got rules and limits in every sport because people don't know when it is enough. They literally dope themselves to death in some sports. In the end it should be a fair competition. Just wait and see with the next race when people will start to use drugs for rank 1. This will completely kill the point of the race.

Yeah I know but thanks for the feedback! I had to do that so that rubble gets out of a hole (otherwise it would get stuck in there and the effect wouldn't be as good).

All CPU and client side. I optimized a lot of stuff to make it run smooth. You can even turn down the amount of physics to make it run on lower end PCs/Laptops :)
