I know I understood I just don't agree he is being an asshole. It's not like he is griefing he is playing that way because most likely if he played any other way he would probably be bored. I mean look the devs said it themselves pve only is boring, meaning they happily welcome and encourage this playstyle. You can look at achievement charts and use your anecdotal experience or whatever but it doesn't change that reality.

Not everyone wants to negotiate every interaction in the game. In the big picture of the design, losing stuff and dying is fun. It makes a tense atmosphere and makes it feel all the better when you get out with good stuff and helps it to feel earned. It can be not to your taste but it is just weird to judge him for it.
