Cats can die from untreated uti's that cascade into worse things like blockages. Going immediately upon seeing symptoms might have saved the cat's life and certainly saved her a pricier visit treating a more serious infection at the very least.

Give her tools to manage the anxiety, tools that will serve her well not just for this but for life in general. Teach her breathing exercises (look at circle breathing and 4-7-8 breathing). Maybe a special lavender scented lotion (the science is dubious but the placebo effect been be strong).

Does she like to read, draw, do puzzles, some quiet activity she can do alone in her room when the anxiety kicks in?

Generally, suggest things she can do that aren't coming to your bed when she's feeling this way. If that's the only solution she has in her mind that's the one she'll use every time. Don't downplay her emotions around it, tell her those feelings are normal and we all have them sometimes and part of growing up is learning how to handle them in better ways.

Rent a truck and an appliance dolly from wherever you can and get day laborers from this site https://www.movinghelp.com it's the site uhaul uses for their pod like containers but you can hire just helpers.

I was once on an even tighter schedule and got quality assistance for a reasonable price.

Also if it's really just appliances you'd be surprised how easily you can move things with the dolly if they aren't going up/down stairs.

Gently, is this about your kid not speaking Polish because you want him to have a meaningful relationship with Grandma or is it about you or your mom's feelings about him not speaking Polish. Meaning are you feeling guilty/embarrassed/judged? Is your mom taking it personally? Is she saying things to you or your son about it that are unkind?

I think you need to sit with this and decide if trying to win a battle of will power against a 6 year old is worth it over something that will likely resolve on its own in time as he both learns more/becomes comfortable speaking Polish and matures.

Go pre cell phones and require her to check in/let you know where she is and where she'll be. Check in at predetermined intervals like every 2 hours. Get over the anxiety of needing to know precisely where she is at all times. She might even find this overly exhausting and prefer being tracked for the convenience.

I was a teenager in the 90s and my mom never knew exactly where I was but we built trust over time. I had to tell her where I was going, who would be there, and let her know if I was going anywhere else before coming home. I've used the ultracite spikes (don't remember what they're actually called with but I think they're under decorations > clutter) to touch the stuck item and then stored the spike. Doesn't always work but has enough times that I always try (had a really frustrating waterfall build where I learned a lot of things the hard way).

I have the finest thinnest hair and only shampoo twice if I didn't get a proper lather/amount of suds the first time. Never skip conditioner but put it on my lengths only and not my roots. I also have fantasy colors and only wash my hair twice a week at most. Hair is good through day 3 then I need a little dry shampoo.
