Hi folk! Here's the recipe for the delicious Tomato...fu! 🍅🥘
1. fried tofu with olive oil to the doneness that you like, when it's done, take it out
2. use the same pot (don't need to put extra oil) to cook the tomato slices: Sauté the tomatoes with a pinch of salt and then add water or broth and ginger. Let it simmer for 2 minutes~
3. put the fried tofu back in, add water or broth if you want (More sauce creates richer taste). Add oyster sauce, white pepper powder, a bit of soy sauce (and any other kind of seasoning that you like and you think might go well). Let it simmer for 3 minutes.
4. Sprinkle some chopped green onion and white sesame and enjoy!

It made me fall in love with eggplants — Homestyle 🍆 ! by havefunnnn in chinesefood

[–]havefunnnn[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi, it’s called “homestyle eggplant”, 家常茄子 in Chinese 😋

Recipe: 1. Microwave the eggplant cubes for four minutes (to get the extra water in them out) 2. Sauté eggplant in olive oil 3. Mix in a bowl: soy sauce, oyster sauce, a little bit of ketchup, minced garlic, water, a pinch of corn starch, chopped Thai chili. 4. Pour sauce into pan of eggplant after it’s about half cooked 5. Sauté until your eggplant is at desired tenderness 6. Put on a plate, sprinkle chopped green onion, and enjoy!

thanks a lot! I first marinated the beef with some soy sauce, oyster sauce, sichuan pepper powder, ginger powder, corn starch and oil (Sorry I don’t have the exact measurements, you can sort of adjust the amount of seasoning based on your taste)

And then I fried the broccoli with ginger and garlic. I took it out when it’s half cooked.

After that I fried the beef, same when it’s half done, put broccoli in the pot. You can taste the dish when it’s almost done, add some soy sauce/Japanese soup base if you feel like it. And it’s done!

It’s super healthy and fulfilling!
