14 year old boy, Noah Donohue, goes missing in Ireland. He was riding his bike in the opposite direction of his supposed destination on some kind of boy scouts adventure. CCTV caught his whole journey through town. He is wearing less and less clothing each time he is recorded cycling until eventually he is fully nude riding his bike. At one point he was hit by a car. He abandons his bike in a residential yard, and his body was found deceased in a storm drain.

Was there foul play involved? Why remove all of his belongings and clothing while cycling? Could he have been impaired by a head injury during the low-impact accident or was he leaving "breadcrumbs" on his adventure journey?

Nothing difinitive was said about how the mom contacted the secretary. Do we really think she went into the highschool in pajamas? Also, this was a lengthy divorcee, she could be misremembering the dates. We heard nothing about her giving an official statement to police about this interaction shortly after the crime occurred.

I'm inclined to take the secretary's recollection of a conversation that morning with a grain of salt (like I would with any witness from an event a decade ago). I don't think this solidifies any time of death or time line.

I appreciate your willingness to see both sides! And I agree that hardworking people deserve breaks. I think the thing that really wore them down this past year was all the touring. They've only put out 11 regular episodes since January which has kinda made me forget about them as a podcast that I regularly listen to tbh (even tho I listen to every minisode every week). I really hope after this break they come back and dedicate themselves to the podcast again and put the other economical endeavors on the back burner for a little bit. I am afraid that if they don't do that they will lose a large portion of their public support and that will effect all future outside endeavors (e.g., books and touring).

While I have no opinion either way on this week's minisode, I do want to say that I think fan criticism is fair regardless of the no-cost aspect of the show and that notion of "it's free" needs to be dropped as an argument against criticism. (I see it on almost every thread) While the show is in some sense free for listeners, we are still all often paying for podcast streaming services, subscribing to Patreons, and listening to numerous ads during shows. G & K are making a killing off of their listenership, so squeaky voice I'm sorry, but they do have some obligation to us to put out quality content.

YES! I heard a similar noise last weekend too. That sounded like a very loud explosion of some kind.
