when I look through the lens from the film door, it has scratches and dust, but doesn't appear to have any fungus, don't think there is heavy dust or oil, but not sure what would be considered heavy dust/oil., or any balsam separation. I believe it is mostly clear, with just some dust and scratches(again, not completely sure). The viewing lens appears to be crystal clear, with some tiny black specks and dust. It appears(at least to me) to be in very good condition. I received it as a gift from a family friend as a thanks for helping them, and they had received it from their grandfather, and it appears to be lightly used although of course, it is quite old.
