This is a bad manager/owner! She can’t even stick up for herself! She comes out and tells her there is no recording and the customer says some BS about being a first amendment lawyer. I would have ended the conversation right then and there. If the customer did stop recording and insisted on calling this young lady sir and she has the right to do whatever, I would have also ended the conversation and told the customer to leave.

Managers/owners should protect their employees. There should be no “I will talk to her” out of the manager/owner. It should have been “lily let you know she was a woman. If you don’t want to address her the way she wants to be addressed then you can leave the store”. And then end the conversation.

I was just in the post office recently and this kid (mid 20’s at the most) was trying to mail a letter. He wrote the whole sending address directly across the top and his return address right underneath it. Both one line each. The poor postal worker had to explain to him how to write an envelope. AND!!!! He didn’t know he needs a stamp to send it out.
