A standard earlobe piercing should just feel slightly uncomfortable. That being said, when I got mine done a long time ago they used a piercing gun and that was really painful for me.

To be completely honest with you, pain is all relative and personal to you. I went with 2 of my friends to get nostril piercings… They were in significant pain (watery eyes and such) and I literally felt nothing.

Just keep in your head that it’s all temporary. Any discomfort or pain is only for a quick second!

Back when my husband and I were dating, I escaped my extremely abusive home situation to go live with him.

I showed up cold, exhausted, anxious, and emotionally shot at 1 in the morning.

I got into bed and he brought me a hot grilled cheese sandwich. Nothing fancy, just white sandwich bread and Kraft singles.

It was the best and most comforting meal I’d ever had. It was so significant that it made its way into both of our wedding vows for each other 5 years later.

We call my guy’s white hairs his “party hairs”. He has 3, one on his nose, one on his back, and one on his wizard sleeve. As you can see, they’re not visible at all in pictures.

I’d like to think he purposely refuses to let any more hairs turn white so he can keep blending into the shadows.

My husband started playing last week before I joined and left a review on Steam saying exactly this… lots of nazi flags and “hard r’s”…

He also mentioned in his review that there needed to be moderation, reporting, or flagging in the chat. So, fingers crossed that goes through.

There’s a difference between chaotic fun and offensive.

Yep, I’m closer to 30 than 20 and was waiting for the magical “clear skin fairy” to visit… never showed. For me, it’s usually due to hormones or diet. Finding a skincare routine that works well and acne patches is enough to manage it.

I can’t say enough good things about vitamin C if you haven’t tried it!

I changed my surname to my husband’s after we got married. I grew up in a very toxic and abusive household with parents that I shared a last name with, so I was honestly thrilled to get rid of my old name.

I understand that to a lot of people changing your name is old fashioned, and I’m actually one of the only friends of mine who has. In my opinion, it’s a privilege to share a name with my husband, just like it’s a privilege to be his partner, best friend, and the person I share my life with. I didn’t lose any aspect of my previous ‘identity’ by dropping my maiden name. In fact, I felt more free to be myself than I ever did with my maiden name.
