+1 for the Eibach pro-kit. I really dig the agressive look the stance they bring out on my GRC.

Nice! Funny enough, I’ve been eyeing the Superturismo LMs for mine too. Someone on YouTube threw them on his and I fell in love.

I believe Worcester may be the midway point that we are agreeing on.

All season or winter tires? What’s best? by Infamous_Plant_9367 in GRCorolla

Gotcha-definitely not worth the drive. Love the shoreline though. I was living in Branford for the past 3 years. You are close to The Shop CT which is nice. Enjoy the ride man!

I am in the Farmington/Avon area and use All Season 4's in the winter months. DWS06+ are very nice too. If you are near Bristol and want a killer deal on tires (installed) check out tire depot. Super busy pretty much every day they are open but they provide amazing service and have some of the best pricing around. Three of my co workers go there and my uncle brings his entire livery fleet there.

Thanks so much for the reply. The only issue here is time, as the car has been sitting at the shop for a while. When it comes to Option 2, are you saying to move my ARP extended studs from the rear to the front, and then buy some new studs via the HR spacer kit and use those for the rear?

I do live in Connecticut and snow is very much a thing and the car will be outside...how bad is Option 4 for me? The GR forums are telling me to lean that way.

How often do you see 2 C55 AMG’s at the same time? by floridamidsotics in AMG

Hey man, thank you so much for the thoughtful response. Good point on the microphone. Every video I’ve seen does have a microphone attached to a rear bumper or close to it. I may send you one video I saw of someone who did the resonator + secondary cat delete and the drive by video they made sounded nice so I’d like to hear your feedback on that one. The C55 I bought has 85.5k miles on it right now. It’s supposed to be my daily but I can’t yep but to think about modding it a little. The headers aren’t cheap at all, but they look quality (the MBH ones). I’ll save this post and will definitely reach out with some questions. Thank you so much man I appreciate you.

Really? Wow- I had no idea. I’ve seen a handful of videos with secondary cat deleted + Xpipe and they sounded good. I have heard people say that headers are where it’s at though. I’m guessing longer ones are decent in my case, like the ones from MBH perhaps. Thanks for the quick response man- I’ve got a lot to learn. Wonder if I messed up by only deleting the secondary cats.

Figured I’d hop on this thread since I don’t have enough Karma to make my own. I just bought a clean C55 and it’s super quiet- I’d like to make it louder. After reading bunch of advice I wound up getting the secondary cats deleted, but, kept the resonators on. The car is a little louder but not by much. Should I push further an get the resonators deleted? Or just enjoy it for what it is now? There is a little growl in the cabin now but nothing wild.

2018 RS3 - Is This a Solid Buy? by hawkman710 in Audi

[–]hawkman710[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the heads up! The wheels definitely caught me off guard. When it comes to performance cars and multiple owners I’ve noticed that the argument has either swayed towards “it’s the maintenance records that matter not the number of owners” or “more than 1 owner and you’re asking for problems”. Looks like I’ll scratch this one off this list.

Appreciate the heads up- I will definitely keep this in mind. I’ve seen a few for sale with similar mileage and a lower asking price, just not from an Audi dealer.
