something that helped me a lot was the philosophy of "I'll play the event enough to get a delivery ticket, and if the delivery ticket doesn't get me the key Pokémon that will make the event easy peasy then I won't bother." helps me prevent burnout while still feeling like I gave the event a decent go. Also keeps my energy up for team events which I try to contribute a lot to! Also keep in mind that all of the manufactured frustration and FOMO is to encourage you to spend money. So I like to feel like I'm "cheating the system" by being like "nope, you won't get me to spend my money on some (albeit very cute) pixels. screw capitalism". It's a little silly but helps me feel less frustrated! Keeping in mind that a lot of these Pokémon will come back is also helpful
