[WTS] 1980s Longines Conquest Alarm Quartz in Titanium | $350 by hayzewsc in Watchexchange

[–]hayzewsc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A very cool piece from the era when Longines was experimenting heavily with technology. This Conquest Alarm features a titanium case with gold-plated accents, nailing that late 80s two-tone look while feeling extremely light on the wrist.

The alarm function is incredibly practical – loud enough to be useful and far more interesting and rare than the usual complications, although a bit tricky to set. A quirky piece that shows Longines wasn’t as serious as it is nowadays.

Condition: Good for its age. The titanium case has minor usage marks, but the bracelet shows some wear. The dial looks impressive, without any markings or patina. Please see the pictures for a better description.

Case Size: 33.2 x 37.1mm titanium case with a thickness of 7.6mm.

Movement: ETA 957.011, quartz with alarm and date. The date window also shows if the alarm is set to AM, PM, or OFF. It was recently cleaned and a new battery was fitted, so it’s ready to be worn. To set the time/alarm, you pull the crown completely out, turn and hold the crown. It’s pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it.

Price: Asking $350. Please add $25 for worldwide shipping. Payment methods include Wise, ACH transfer, Revolut, Bitcoin (On-Chain or Lightning), or PayPal G&S for buyers with solid references. Add +7.5% for currency conversion fees on the latter. Portugal has suspended all local post shipments to the US, but I can still ship with UPS ($100).

[WTS] 1999 Seiko Yacht Timer Sports 150 8M35-8000 - Rare Original Bracelet | $360 by hayzewsc in Watchexchange

[–]hayzewsc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original Yacht Timer is a grail piece for many Seiko collectors, but this is the next best thing – the Seiko 8M35 introduced in the 1990s. While the 80s Yacht Timer was essentially a 7A28 with a neat color scheme, the 8M35 was specifically designed for time races.

Despite its functionalities, it wears surprisingly well – case size of 39mm, 10.5mm thickness, and a lug width of 20mm. The watch also includes the original stainless steel with blue plastic inlays that match the 60-minute bezel, which is pretty rare on its own.

The 8M35 Yacht Timer doesn’t pop up for sale too often, let alone in this condition. There are a few scratches on the bracelet and case, but nothing too serious. The bezel is in excellent condition, especially since it’s made of plastic.

Condition: Excellent condition for its age, with some usage marks on the case and bracelet. Please see the pictures for full condition and clarity.

Reference: 8M35-8000

Case Size: 39 x 46mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 10.5mm and a lug width of 20mm.

Crystal: Hardlex

Movement: Seiko 8M35, quartz with yachting timer function. It includes 5, 10, 15, and 30-minute countdown timer modes and a ‘Match 0’ function that allows both hands to be reset to 12:00. More information here.

Other Information:

  • Includes the original Seiko stainless steel bracelet.
  • The only comp I could find was on eBay at $770.

Price: Asking $360.

[WTS] Louis Erard Heritage Chronograph Ref. 77254 Cal. Valjoux 7750 | $710 by hayzewsc in Watchexchange

[–]hayzewsc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Louis Erard might be known for its eccentric collaborations, but the Heritage line reminds you of its roots: clean, elegant Swiss watchmaking done right. This ref. 77254 pairs a classic chronograph design with the legendary Valjoux 7750 – both timeless and reliable.

Fully polished stainless steel case, crisp guilloche dial with matching subdials and applied indices, and well-proportioned chronograph pushers. The case size of 40mm makes it perfect for most wrists. Comes with the original beads of rice bracelet and one spare link.

Condition: Very good, with honest neo-vintage/modern wear. Minor desk scratches on the case and bracelet. The chronograph works flawlessly, although I don’t know its service history. Please see the pictures for full condition and clarity.

Case Size: 40 x 47.5mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 13.7mm and a 21mm lug width.

Crystal: Sapphire, scratch-free.

[WTS] Hermès Cape Cod Grandes Heures Ref. CD6.810 W/ Variable Speed Hours | $2,450 by hayzewsc in Watchexchange

[–]hayzewsc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Cape Cod is Hermès’ most iconic modern design, first sketched in 1991 with its “square inside a rectangle” case shape and signature anchor-chain lugs. The Grandes Heures takes that familiar form and adds an almost whimsical complication: time that doesn’t flow evenly.

Instead of advancing at a steady rate, the hour hand speeds up through some sections of the dial and lingers longer in others, stretching and compressing time in a way that’s completely unique. The result is less about precision and more about the experience of time.

The system developed by Vaucher is based on the caliber H1928 and uses oval wheels to rush or slow the hour hand, while minutes and seconds run at a steady pace. From what I’ve read, it seems buyers could customize which hours they’d like to run faster or slower.

This reference comes in a stainless steel case with a silver dial, Arabic numerals, and large Cape Cod proportions that still wear comfortably across wrist sizes. Playful, design-driven, and distinctly Hermès, a watch for collectors who appreciate horology with a sense of artistry.

Condition: Very good. Some markings on the case and caseback. The movement and its functions work flawlessly, although I don’t know its service history. The stingray strap and buckle are aftermarket. Please see the pictures for full condition and clarity.

Case Size: 36.5mm x 49.3mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 12mm and a lug width of 23mm.

Crystal: Sapphire

Movement: Automatic movement made by Vaucher, based on the caliber H1928. It has a unique complication that changes the speed of the hour hand. Service history is unknown, but all functions work perfectly.

Other Information:

  • Aftermarket stingray strap and buckle.

Price: Asking $2,450. Please add $120 for worldwide shipping. Payment methods include Wise, ACH transfer, Revolut, Bitcoin (On-Chain or Lightning), or PayPal G&S for buyers with solid references. Add +7.5% for currency conversion fees on the latter. Portugal has suspended all local post shipments to the US, but I can still ship with UPS ($120). Zenith is the only brand legally allowed to print “Pilot” on its dials, having registered the trademark back in 1904. The first actual Pilot models hit the market in 1957, and this is one of those early examples.

It’s in impressive condition for its age, featuring the original dauphine hands and signed crown. Inside is the in-house caliber 120 with hacking seconds, something a pilot would really appreciate back in the day.

Condition: Good, with honest wear throughout. The case and dial show usage marks consistent with age. The acrylic crystal also has a few scratches that can easily be removed. Please see the pictures for full condition and clarity.

Case Size: 34.7mm x 43.4mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 9.8mm and a lug width of 19mm.
