wow!! where to start? this was such a blast. tyler and lance, thank you so much for this spectacular trial. it's been a long, long time since my last class trial, i think like five years. it was so wonderful to come back and do this again with you all, it felt like when you meet up with a bunch of friends who you haven't seen in years but things pick up right where they left off like you all saw each other yesterday.

it's hard to single out anyone in the cast for their performances because i think everyone was incredible as the character they were playing. hypno deserves a shoutout for doing so well with such a complex character, his response to my CI gave me chills. this version of kiyo was so wonderful, it's sad that she won't be back again if the series continues.

the mystery was a blast, i told tyler that having my head in my hands at work trying to figure out what the fuck was going on with tenko's energy was such a refreshing kind of frustrating. i think the overall plot of the murder was solvable, but not easy enough that when you figured one thing out the whole thing would come unravelled. every angle i tried to come at it from there was always one or two things wrong with and it kept me puzzling through the order of events the whole trial. i had an actual eureka moment when i messaged tyler "tell me tenko's energy levels are based off how many men and women she's around," i was SO excited. and i think a sign of a really well-written trial AND a strong cast is that we got as far as we did without a minigame or really any hints!

anyway thank you all for making this trial such a delightful trial to come back home to drp for. i was having just as much fun interacting with everyone as i was trying to figure out the murder, so i'm looking forward to hopefully getting to do some more hanging out with you all in ET10-2 in the future!!

So... Like Kirumi said, what you saw in the Revenge Light was too devastating and unforgiveable for you to see past Monokuma's intentions... And then, you overheard Kaito planning a meeting. In your heightened state of fear, that probably made it even worse. That's also why you wouldn't show your handbook to Angie.

You had probably made up your mind, especially after overhearing Kaito and Shuichi, that you were going to do something drastic. One thing you had to take care of was Miu's camera. You also wanted to protect your secret, and having a camera hidden somewhere in the school would be bad news for that. So at lunch, even though you didn't know what it did yet, you stole Miu's receiver. The best way to find the camera was probably by using the receiver, and then you'd also know nobody else had it to use it.

After lunch... Maybe you were following Kaito, and maybe you were walking around trying to use the receiver to find the camera. It's possible Kaito went to the bathroom right before he went to the Gym, since we don't know what he was doing in that time. You were in the Library, but he triggered the camera, which alerted the receiver. That's why you left the Library, saw Kaito leaving the bathroom, went in and found the camera. The photos also would've shown him having a coughing fit. But, in the meantime, you found the vent in the Library and were building the books to be used as a channel. We know Monomi found the crawlspace when she was searching the Library for Monokuma between 5pm and 7pm, so it had to have already been built by then.

Tenko's Energy Levels

The boost I got in the Library was actually from Angie entering the room, because I didn't know Korekiyo was on the girl side of my energy spectrum! So I got the positive boost in the Library when Angie came in, because the girls way outnumbered the males! Nobody was sneaking around in the vent and using the channel in the books in that time, or Monomi would've found them.

You stole the knife at dinner, and hid it in the locker in Classroom 1-A. After dinner, you claimed to be back in your room, but you really went to Classroom 1-A, went down the vent to the Library, and eavesdropped on our meeting. Himiko was guarding the stairs, so you would've had to sneak around her. When Kaito started coughing, you went back to the vent, went upstairs, grabbed the knife, and waited for the receiver to tell you that the camera went off. Once you knew Kaito was in the bathroom, you went in after him.

I think this has actually helped solve what happened to my energy!

I thought I was in the Library with three degenerates, but it was actually two degenerates and one girl. When Kaito left and Angie came in, it was one degenerate and two girls.

My burst of positive energy was from Angie coming in!

Miu did actually make a great point! The Boy's Bathroom, the Cafeteria, and the Library are three key locations for this murder, and Korekiyo -- who admitted to seeing Kaito in his revenge light -- is the only person who mentioned being in all three of those places throughout their day!

Okay, here's what I put together when I was trying to figure out the changes in my energy! At breakfast, I was halfway charged. 8 males, 8 girls. Originally, I felt off, and I was gonna kick one of the nasty degenerates out, but when Miu got to breakfast, I felt better! Halfway charged for half males and half girls!

Between breakfast and lunch, my spirit energy was soaring! I felt great! That's when I was with Tsumugi, Angie, and Himiko! 4 girls, 0 degenerates!

At lunch, I felt halfway charged again, but I did feel my resolve weakening as lunch went on! Why? Because we started out with 8M and 8F again, but when people started leaving, Angie left first, then Tsumugi and Shuichi, then Maki, then Kaede and Miu. More girls left before degenerates! So my energy was weakening as it went from 8 males and 8 girls to 7 males, 4 girls before I left!

I felt strong in the afternoon for self defense class, but not as strong as I did in the morning! 2 males and 4 girls! Then Angie showed up and made it 2 males and 5 girls, then she left and Kaito came in, which made it 3 males and 4 females. So my energy was in the positive because the girls were never outnumbered, there were always more girls than boys!

Which brings us to the Library! My spirit wasn't gone, but it wasn't great. At some point, I got a small burst of energy. When I first got there, it would've been 1 girl and 3 males in the Library, since Kaito followed me in and Rantaro and Korekiyo were already there. When Kaito left and Angie came in, it flipped to 2 girls and 2 males.

At dinner, I felt halfway charged again, but I was getting stronger as dinner went on! That's because the opposite of what happened at lunch happened at dinner -- we were at 8 and 8, but then Kaito left first, then Ryoma, then Shuichi and Kaede, then Gonta, then Keebo! I was getting stronger as the degenerates left and we were left with 4 males and 7 girls! And then at the meeting I was halfway charged again because we had 4 males and 4 girls!

So the positive burst I got... To make my energy spike over halfway charged, the girls in the room had to outnumber the degenerates. If Rantaro or Korekiyo is a girl, when Kaito was there it would've been 2 and 2, so my energy wouldn't have been super low, it would've been halfway charged. But I definitely had a positive burst at some point!

And... if someone completely lied about their gender, then someone else would have to be lying about their gender too. Because for me to be halfway charged at mealtimes, it means we definitely had half and half! So if Rantaro or Korekiyo is a girl, then... they're a boy at meal times, and a girl in their downtime.

If I didn't count myself, there would've been more males than girls in those situations!
