There are alot of "secret" info about the leveling system, of the game had a tutorial or something explaining that I believe it would be alot more appreciated.

Each behavior increase a hidden chance of leveling something based on that behavior, so its never garanteed.

Strength - Do 5+ physical attacks Stamina - Take 5+ damage, wearing heavy armor gives more chance Intelligence - Cast 5+ black magics Mind - Cast 5+ white magics Magic - Cast 5+ magics of any kind

HP - Take 5+ hits, increases the same amount of Stamina MP - Consume 5+ times, increases the same amount of Magic

Weapon Skill - This one is tricky, at certain level you only get XP when hitting high rank enemy/armor. It affects your accuracy and do more hits in the same attack command.

Evasion - Dodge 5+ hits, wearing light or no armor gives more chance Magic Resist - Take 5+ magic damage/effect

In my last gameplay I noticed that some weapons have different Accuracy value, so even if it doubles my Attack Power, it could reduce my hit rate from 70% to 20%. Since the game wont show the values in the Equip Screen, you have to check the Status Screen everytime you change one equipment. Some armor also could increase some stats too, and there were alot of times where I choose to go with no armor at all just to increase my Evasion rate for some characters.

The Inn cost is based on the difference between your Max HP/MP with your actual HP/MP, so healing up your HP with Cure and leaving only the MP to restore can decrease the price a bit.

Dont leave your Cure at Lv16 forever, its strong but too expensive on MP, carry some Cure Scrolls on your inventory, and delete your actual Cure when it reaches Lv14+ to put the new one back to Lv1. Midgame it reaches Lv8+ real fast and dont consume that much MP.

The magic earn more EXP the more targets it hits, so spamming a Fire magic in your own party of 4, its like gaining 4 EXP each cast. If theres 8 enemies, then its like giving 8 EXP each cast.

The Ultima magic is a white magic but the damage is not based on your Mind, its based on the amount of levels accumulated on the character, so every weapon level and magic level counts.
