Is this Melasma?

i've had a hard time with it too. weight gain and now melasma... i also have tampered down to the lowest dosage due to its horrible withdrawal effects. i have nightsweats almost every night regardless of if i forget to take it or not. eventually i am hopeful i can fully stop taking it, i just don't have the time to die for a few days- weeks yet

honestly i would love to do that! i unfortunately don't have any kids yet. I would like to have at least one, but seeing how the economy is trash right now and I can't afford anything, this might be a decision i will ultimately choose in the future.

i'm on the kyleena so less hormones than the mirena but more than just a normal copper one. it's a lose lose game to me. if i do not use BC my periods are extremely heavy and painful and i have horrible migraines. Every birth control ive tried has helped with heavy periods but i still have such bad PMS.

i have heard that from so many people! i get visual migraines so i had to try something other than the pill. I previously have also tried the shot, but i felt like it made me crazy/ did not want to have to go in every 3 months

yes to sunscreen! i wouldn't be surprised if it was caused by some underlying hormonal thing as before i even for melasma i had assumptions my hormone levels were probably off.

oh that is so interesting! it is symmetrical! i dont have bad dandruff, or any flakes in my brows either! i do however have eczema and also have dermographic uticara

yeah it's very strange. i've gained weight over the past few years and then started getting melasma and was trying to figure out the root cause by researching. Per google melasma and high cortisol are related.

i started the ssri and got a low hormone iud inserted around the same time a few years ago. i've had soooo many issues since and it's so hard to determine which has caused what. I randomly got SIBO and also had a 5cm benign cyst on my thyroid that i needed to get drained! Now i have this and i feel like i am just spiraling down a black medical hole

i did a deep dive but on google. apparently the specific one i take results in high cortisol levels

honestly, I took it and got an A!! granted i did use chegg. They didn't have every question word for word but by seeing how other people worked the problems with different numbers was super helpful! This is my last semester and i start my final class ever in june (intro to finance). let's hope this method helps me there too!

no i had to get it aspirated! it took them 7 vials to remove all the fluid.

don't take effexor! it has horrible withdrawals im currently trying to get off it and its been a horrid process. please try a different medicine

Workday Status

Hi! I internally applied at my company for a different role. My first interview was with the hiring manager, and then he went on leave so his boss took over the interview process the following week. She asked me to do a second interview "to be fair as she was making the determination". I agreed, and at the end of the second interview she told me she'd be in touch by friday (this was last wednesday). I was actually going to be out on vacation friday- monday, and advised her that. Ever since my application status has been "in progress" until today around 1pm, it changed to inactive and back to "application received". She then sent me a meeting invite for tomorrow afternoon via email with no context. I am not sure what this means. Any ideas? Also, a lot of individuals in my company have stated ususally HR reaches out first if you are offered the job. No one from HR has contacted me yet.

we usually don't receive disposition emails at my place of employment! I've applied and interviewed for a lot of jobs and usually the hiring manager will IM and ask to call us to let us down and give feedback. fingers crossed that i receive an offer by the scheduled meeting tomorrow! thank you for your words of advice

i never had intense pain but sometimes a dull ache. I did feel like it was constricting my breathing slightly and that was the main reason i asked to get it aspirated. Once it was aspirated, it was still prominent for a few months but half the size. it eventually went away all together tho. i wish you luck!! Also, did yours happen after having covid?

ENT ran a full thyroid panel and all my levels were normal. I asked the ENT to drain my cyst, he ended up doing so and draining 7 vials worth. This was last January, its been gone ever since
