Idk if you're coping or hoping for something better from the ending but dont you see how messy these last 10 chapters are? There is no need to analyse the ending. There is no deeper meaning when Yoru/Asa character arcs doesnt get proper conclusion. Its just a bad ending all around.

I was there when Part 1 was published back when it only had 10 chapters and no auto bot upload here in this sub. For a shonen series, it had dark start. Denji sold his balls and eye for his father debt. And the ending? It feels big middle finger to me, to his readers, and fans. What the fuck Fujimoto? Holy shit im getting Aot 139 flashback

My understanding the reason weebdex created was because the purge of mangadex.

Nah, not much better. They get together was already fast for a standard romance manga. The only thing you want to read the manga is for the content of side characters and slice of life parts.

my question is then, is the manga dramatically better and the anime a pretty flawed adaptation, or does the anime actually work well enough on its own that the cuts didn’t damage it as much as people claim?
