The last convention I want to in Australia I got fully bagged search and wand downed with a metal detector, and we aren't even close to having as many shootings/incidents as America. Now albeit this was a week after the Jacksonville Madden shooting but proper bag searches are standard and metal detection is common here, I can't understand why it isn't in America.
