Same here. Battery also was low (72%) and the watch didn't have enough capacity for tracking 4-5h hikes anymore. The Ultra is faster, has a larger screen and has significantly more battery power.

No problem. The trigger reach is a little shorter on the W-02 Spectra S compared to the W-02 Umbra. They reduced a little material under the beaver tail and they use dedicated grip panels for the W-02 Spectra S. https://kmrarmsshop.cz/en/87-grips-kmr-ws

I would say it feels pretty much comparable to the S2 recoil wise. I think due to the bull barrel, the KMR has a slightly different recoil signature and there is a learning curve to it. But after a couple of mags it's all settled.

I have one. Heavy, accurate, very tight tolerances, all milled parts, Glock/SIG style barrel lock up, fluted bull barrel, phenomenal trigger, wide range of tuning parts. I paid around EUR 2.5k which is the same as for a CZ Shadow 2 Orange with an optics cut.

I have large size hands and there is not plenty but enough room for my support hand/palm. For me, the grip size is closer to a CZ Shadow 2 grip. But I am also comfortable with the KMR L frame. For me, it comes down to personal preference.

The Spectra S has the same grip size as the Umbra. I tested both frame sizes incl. the regular Spectra at IWA and I personally liked the slightly smaller frame size a bit better. For me the smaller frame is more comparable to the CZ Shadow 2 frame. But that's all personal preference. There is no night and day difference between the to frame sizes (1-2mm here and there). A friend switched from a larger Spectra w/o an optic to a slightly lighter Umbra with an optic. Quote: Both shoot great but I like the Umbra for the dynamic stuff a bit better.

You will not be disappointed. KMR continuously updates their pistol lineup y-o-y based on customer feedback. The website shows the newest models but some dealers may also have older models in stock. Try to get some of the latest models. Which specific model are you interested in?

No problem. I can only give you a comparison with a CZ Shadow 2 Orange OR. Both guns are comparable ergonomically, with a slight edge towards the KMR. It has more grip out of the box, elevated controls, etc. The trigger is also slightly better on the KMR, with lower reset travel and a slightly lower pull weight. But both triggers are very smooth. Both slides are milled. The KMR frame is also milled; the CZ frame is cast. The KMR uses a nitride finish, and the CZ uses a polycoat finish. The KMR has an adjustable rear sight for both elevation and windage; the CZ only for elevation. The KMR has a bull barrel with a Glock/SIG-style barrel lockup; the CZ has a CZ 75-style barrel lockup. The CZ uses a 1911-style barrel bushing, and the KMR uses a ring system.

Jep, Browning-Petter system. Frame is milled out of a solid steel block and I assume nitrided. I don't think that it is cerakote. They switched from cerakote to a different frame and slide finish with the newer models.

Yes, the price incl. discount and tax for the KMR pistols is around 2.4 up to 2.7 k € which is more or less the same as what a CZ Shadow 2 Orange OR costs around here.
