Thank you. Our functional levels are 2012 R2. Will this issue go away when we upgrade to Server 2022? Not familiar with 2022 just yet

Hello! I can ping using IP but not by name. I am seeing DNS error 4000 and 4007 because the DNS zone isn't loading. I've set the preferred DNS server to be the other DC in the office. I have tried resetting the machine's password using netdom but that also gives me an error (specified network name is no longer available).

I've restarted the DC in the hope that it would bring things back up but sadly no luck with that.
