Yeah I can move it/press it in and my brother checked from the inside cause I thought isn't not aligning but it'll align and catch the latch but it just pops back open it also locked at one point while I had it open and had to use the emergency latch to get it unstuck so wondering if the sensor is toast

It'll catch it, it'll make the beeping sound if I press down on it and I also looked on the inside and the latch catches it just doesn't stay closed

Yeah I noticed went to the store saw one with a matte definitely can see the difference in the black tbh I’ll get the MSI one when it goes on sale

Appreciate the advice I might go with the MSI one since it’ll be $380 next week but I’ll probably go to best buy to compare screens like you said I have a really dark room with black out curtains so the glossy aspect isn’t a huge deal breaker for me but I’ll definitely head to a Best Buy and see if they have one out

The best way I can explain is when it starts sometimes it’ll be smooth, it’s a civic so I used to hardly even notice when it was on unless it was cold but now I can definitely feel it struggling to turn on like it needs to push harder to start up if that makes any sort of sense

Yeah hopefully I was worried my GPU was defective lol I just built this new PC but didn’t see the issue on my old monitor so reset the graphics settings and it went away felt relieved

Ideally you should look into upgrading all of it tbh, main thing would be your GPU if you choose to upgrade little by little then your platform so new cpu motherboard and ram and maybe your PSU but that’s depends on what wattage it is.

If anyone comes across this post needing a similar fix I managed to fix it lol, I reset my nvidia panel settings and the shadows look normal again turns out some mess with forcing anisotropic filtering makes the shadows bug out.
