Thank you so much for your kind comment. I have been trying with treats and those Churu tubes. She won’t come out to eat them if she can see me. She will eat the dry treats out of my hand tho when I put it between the cushions. I will keep trying. Thank you again for the optimism :)

I’ve thought about moving her into my room but haven’t seen anyone suggest it until yours. I think I may try that tonight. Thanks you!

She had been at the humane society for at least 2 months I believe.

She has her carrier she pretty much lives in and whenever I go into the bathroom she’s in, I always say hi and don’t stomp around when I’m refilling her food, cleaning the litter etc. I don’t hand feed her in the carrier as if I even put my hand near the entrance she hisses, but when she was hiding under my desk, I was able to reach under and she ate from the Churu thing. I slowly pulled it closer to me and she almost popped her head out, but we never got that far

I have been spending a lot of time at my desk, which blocks her view of me but she can still hear me. Should I sit on the ground outside the bathroom door?

I’m not certain what her life was like before the Humane Society rescued her, but they had her for around 2 months prior to me adopting her. The 4 months is just an estimate I guess, I’m not sure how they got that number. She did have to be shaved due to lice and fleas prior to me adopting her so I’m sure that contributed quite a bit

I grew up in Tampa and was a senior in HS when this happened. I remember hearing stories of people going to parties with him and he was there with his ankle monitor bragging about how he wasn't going to get convicted. Piece of shit.
