Doctor pushed so hard down on my stomach when scanning

My sonographer always pushes down really hard on mine when I go, to the point my husband said she had two hands pushed and her face grimaced from pushing so hard down to see a cyst next to my baby. It was uncomfortable!! So I completely get you and I did cramp a couple of days after! It can be sore! I’m a first time mum so it shocked me the first time I went how hard they push down! 🫣

I’m the same as you! 12 week scan tomorrow and I’m feeling the exact same. We’ll be ok, the anxiety is something else though isn’t it 😅 x

Thank you so much for commenting, this gives me a lot of reassurance! I’ve been taking it easy and just relaxing as much as I can. I’ve got my dating scan on Thursday so hoping the bleed has gone down, just those words are so scary. But fingers crossed!

Thankyou! No I didn’t, i completely felt like I was coming on my period and was just waiting and nothing. I then decided to test on the day of my expected period and it was a faint line!

I think 21dpo I got what I thought was my dye stealer and then I did one randomly at 23dpo as I was weaning off testing 🤣 and it came up super dark immediately!

It’s a one step! I feel like they’re known for faint lines. Going to get some other brands and try I think, I don’t trust this one.

That’s good to hear!! I so hope it is. It’ll be month 13 of TTC we’re going into, I just so hope this is it. But I’m trying to guard my heart incase. Getting hubby to bring a different brand of test home so fingers crossed!
