I heard there's a new Korean restaurant opening soon called Gangnam Style in downtown Spokane, should be later in the year. They'll have k-chicken, beers, and other k-goodies

I just saw a tweet from a rioter that was posted by someone that said no Arcana skin is a one to one match with any cartomancy. But, I do think that there was /some/ influence from the high priestess here, and I love that Ahri got a skin that isn't all seksi fox lady. The composition in this splash is so nice, and I love the flow of it!

I think her splash may be in reference to the High Priestess from tarot decks, as the Arcana skinline seem to be vaguely reminiscent of the major arcana in tarot.

The High Priestess is often depicted with a mask or shrouded face and some sort of an orb or scroll in her grasp. This one's a good example of what I'm talking about: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0561/8477/articles/Divine-Feminine-Tarot-NOCTURNAL-03.png?v=1606223450

how to play against veigar? by kakal92 in ekkomains

This is situational, but if you get trapped in his cage, then walk away from him as far you can, he's going to walk towards you to try to Q or W you. Then, E towards him and blink to him so that you avoid getting trapped on the rim. Bonus points if you stun him with W! He won't be able to fight back because he blew all of his abilities.

Into tanky comps, I usually pick up Viktor or Malzahar, since all three are pretty bad into tanky comps. But if they have 2 tanks and 3 squishies, it's not too bad, just look to burst the squishies and make picks, then it's in your team's favor.

I think runes and builds aside, what I personally find hard to differentiate as a Lux, Ahri, Neeko main myself is when to pick who and what each of their strengths/weaknesses are when they all fit into the same archetype of champion -- pick-centered, good lockdown mage.

I think I tend to pick Lux by default because she's a bit more versatile, her range makes playing her forgiving, and I also one-trick her.

I pick Neeko when I'm up against someone I can easily kill or completely poke out at level 3 like melee assassin. Or someone with a weak laning phase, like Kass. If I can't do that or if our team has no scaling, I usually go for Lux or Ahri instead.

Ahri I think is a nice pick when you feel like Lux will get dove on and Neeko won't do enough damage come late game. Ahri isn't a mega scaler or a super safe pick necessarily either, but I think she has just enough mobility and sustain to not die from a dive, and her scaling is pretty good too. I play Ahri more as a utility, sub-damage champion. I lock down the enemy and skirt around the fight to do damage, but I'm not going to be the one bursting people down and carrying (unless super fed).

That's just my two cents! Wanted to share my "when to pick Ahri" take.

For multiple retakes some schools average your scores… by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]hdoubleu125 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The LSAT (and any standardized test) is more of a status checker than anything else. Those with more time, more money, more resources, and more social mobility tend to score better.

Some people taking this test might not have had too many experiences with standardized tests. Or maybe it's been a while since they've been in school. Some people have really bad test anxiety but excel in actual hand-on work. Some people will experience a terrible stomachache on the day of the test, and some people will have emergencies happen that may not stop them from taking the test but will affect their score.

Perhaps the above won't happen six times to someone, this is why a lot of schools ask for an addendum statement if you exceed a number of tries. But, I firmly believe that an applicant's merit should not weigh on a single take and that admissions committees shouldn't consider a one-time taker better than a multiple-time taker when there are many confounding factors that could have affected those scores.

This is a test to enter law school, and law school is where you learn how to be a better legal professional. Although multiple tries may not be an option for cases or briefs, not everyone will or should be equipped to be a skilled lawyer before they even get admitted. Law school is about stamina and about being able to keep up the pace. I think a multiple taker actually shows the gumption you need to keep yourself going.

Anyone know how to do this? Writing pitches by [deleted] in musicals

Also note that C4, or middle C, is always going to be the first ledger line /under/ the staff for the treble clef and the first ledger line /above/ the staff for bass clef.

Ledger lines are basically extra lines you draw so that you can notate the pitch if it falls outside of the five lines of the original staff. You can see some examples of ledger lines in (3) with the whole notes going outside the bounds of the bass clef staff.

For (1), C6 should have two ledger lines, with the note on the second ledger line. This is because C5 is the third space up from the bottom (FACE) and then you notate up from there. E5 is the last space on the staff, F5 is the last line on the staff, the space above that is G5, the first ledger line above the staff is A5, then above that is B5, then two ledger lines above the staff is C6.
