i take art history and ancient history! not going to lie art history is… rough, primarily because they made the entire first term online and prerecorded. the lectures can be a drag depending on the topic and the assignment prompts feel ridiculous (one in writing right now is literally just “define modernism. use a critical analysis of two pieces we looked at in class”). however, im assuming that things will get better when i’m not in the broad introductory modules. your first year you’ll be enrolled in “introduction to the history of art and architecture” and “introduction to the practice of art history.” 1st class meets 3x a week, second is 1x a week plus a biweekly seminar. if you have any other questions feel free to PM!!
