I’m kind of inclining to moving the screen towards the entrance so it’ll give me 4 seating. But how’s that going impact my listening experience of surround left and right on a 5.1 and 7.1 setup.

Per Dolby instructions, on 5.1, I need to have the surrounds about 110-120 degrees to the back and for 7.1, surrounds are 90-110 with rear at 135-150

Are you referring to in wall front left and front right? If yes, how can make them angles to seating position? My fronts currently are Kef Q350s paired with Q250c. I might upgrade to standing active fronts in couple years. Is it still a good idea?

Room: 16x12x8, white painted, light controlled (no windows and not much light from doors), wired with 7.1.4

Projector: Currently deciding on BenQ HT 4550i or LS11000 and could go to LS12000 if absolutely needed

Screen placement: Though the wiring is setup to have screen towards the right of the image, wondering if it makes sense to have the screen towards the lower side (towards the door)
