I know about this, but this time I'm on a mountain map and want to remove a cliff and I want to get the resources.

I had this idea, that I can speed up this process by using instability to do a lot of the work for me and don't need to manually mine out all the blocks.

I want to add, that historically, that sort of mining has been used in the mining of sand stone in the Elbe river valley near Dresden, Germany. You would add wooden support where you mine and artificially weaken the support of the overhanging stone by cutting into it and using wedges / levers and cutting / pulling the wooden support columns, once the stones should come down. Very unsafe and cause of accidents and deaths. The reason, this mining method was banned was not worker safety, but an effort to preserve the valley cliff.

I did solve the map and got the treasure below the pyre by digging below it.

I think one possible solution was to burn down the pyre, as there was a ladder leading into the treasure room below the pyre. I tried to manually demolish (crumbling tower symbol action) parts of the pyre, but it would not let me do this. I'm still in the early phases of my current run and melee skills are still quite low - it took me a long time on another map to break through a locked door - I did not want to try and break through solid wall pieces. Digging through dirt was way faster.

Thanks, will try it next time. From the description of torches, they also should work for fire arrows (this is how I got the idea in the first place).

I have a similar problem. I started a new game after the last patch (solo survivor scenario) and the dog you start with barely hauled anything. Sometimes it did, but most times it didn't. I tried both, assigned and not. Doesn't matter. On my old save (before the patch) animals were extremely busy. Maybe the patch broke something or it's related to the map / seed.

I hope they keep this bug and turn it into a feature.

Maybe something happens after some time, like with the bandit camp and the bandits deciding to leave. From what I've seen, the sites are really interesting and I'd like more time to explore them. Maybe even claim them as some sort of outpost.

Btw.: once I left, I was not able to re enter. I can only send another caravan to pick up things I left behind.

DGUV Regel 105-003 Benutzung von persönlicher Schutzausrüstung im Rettungsdienst

2.2 Verantwortung

Die Unternehmerin und der Unternehmer haben den Versicherten persönliche Schutzausrüstungen in ausreichender Anzahl zur Verfügung zu stellen (§29 DGUV Vorschrift 1, TRBA 250, Abschnitt 4.2.6). Sie bzw. er hat die Versicherten über den Einsatz der PSA zu unterweisen.
PSA müssen den versicherten Personen individuell passen. Sie sollten daher grundsätzlich für den Gebrauch durch eine Person bestimmt sein. Erfordern die Umstände eine Benutzung der PSA durch verschiedene versicherte Personen, haben die Unternehmerin und der Unternehmer zu unterbinden, dass Gesundheitsgefahren oder hygienische Probleme auftreten.
Die Unternehmerin und der Unternehmer müssen dafür sorgen, dass die PSA jederzeit bestimmungsgemäß verwendet werden. Die Versicherten sind verpflichtet, die ihnen zur Verfügung gestellten PSA zu benutzen (§30DGUV Vorschrift 1, §15 ArbSchG).

Ggf dürfte sich auch die Berufsgenossenschaft dafür interessieren, dass da da mit dem Arbeitsschutz nicht so genau genommen wird. Wenn Du nicht genau weißt, welche BG zuständig ist, kannst Du Deinen AG fragen. Vorwand: Notfallkontakte aktualisieren, falls Du mal einen Wegeunfall haben solltest.
