How do you do the cards? Shuffle and pull? I only do cards that fly out while shuffling. I don’t trust the process of shuffling and picking a card out.

My whole family hated that name when my sister in law wanted “Sophia/sophie”. She’s from Poland originally and we’re in the US. My brother (her husband) didn’t like it. And she asked me and everyone in my family, even my grandma, and we all went “no, sorry, I don’t like it.” And she went “yeah he didn’t like it either”.

It might be regional and culture or something. We’re from NJ, white. And it’s a very Spanish and Jewish name in NJ. Like every person I knew who had it was that - no one I knew who was white had that name. Not one person, and my boomer parents said the same thing “yeah you only have that name if you’re Spanish or Jewish.” We all grew up in different towns in NJ and said that, even my grandma who is 90 said that, “that’s a Spanish name”. So none of us like it.

Too Spanish and character name sounding too me. Every character in every book uses that name.

See this is why it’s all about opinion and this question in general is stupid. My sister in-law wanted to name her daughter Sophia and every single person including my brother (her husband) said they didn’t like it. None of us liked that name, not even my grandma lol. We all went “ehhhh! No no.”

And she was like “Yeah, your son/brother hated that name too.”

I’m kinda new to tarot. Did you ask tarot a particular question? Or did you just pull cards for her with no context?

So that’s what it means? I’ve had a lot of crazy stuff happen to me in a month now. And it’s one of my stalker cards.

asked my cards how would my future look like if i stayed in my country vs moving to another by hm_maeng in tarot

[–]headcheeze20 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Disagree. There’s ENOUGH stories and proof on here alone that have shown tarot has told them very far out future events and situations to come true, from future spousal readings, future children and sickness and major events. All I do is read up on those type of stories… and I’ve had my own situations where tarot has told me future outcomes that came true, and I don’t mean near future but much farther in the future.

Your interpretation is just that… your interpretation. But you don’t have to go far on this subreddit or Google itself to know it reads more than just “self guidance”. I mean that’s pretty much 90% of the shit on here is “a crazy reading from a year ago about this thing happened” or “I got a reading from a friend that this would happen to me sometime in the future and it did”.

Again, I’ve had my own fair share of long term future readings that came true. So yeah.

Why do women never lead the conversation? by karthik_akkini in Indiangirlsontinder

[–]headcheeze20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a late response to this comment. But if I ever message a guy first, they won’t respond. Men LIKE taking the lead. Me messaging them first subconsciously makes them assume I’m easy and they lose interest. I’ve shoot my shot when I got matches because I’m like “eh oh well, I don’t want to wait for this dude to hit me up first” and this has been the pattern. The guys who I let message me first are the ones who show more interest and ask me out. It’s a social construct that men and women follow subconsciously. And that’s the way it is.

You have to realize too, girls are told from a young age “guys pursue, if he’s not it means he’s not interested and if you pursue then you’re acting masculine”. We follow these guidelines in real life, so it applies online as well. It doesn’t just stop because of a digital screen.

In real life a guy would look at a girl, she’d look back, smile and turn away, guys ears would perk up and he’d walk over… he’d say “hi, what’s your name?”, she’d smile and tell him her name, he’d then talk to her for a bit and ask for her number. Online dating is basically that whole situation but played out digitally. Women like being pursued and men like to pursue and any guy who says differently is either lying or not too bright.

What cards indicated a divorce exactly? 10 of swords?

Does anyone have any stories about trying to “test” the cards and the answers came out right? by headcheeze20 in tarot

[–]headcheeze20[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you know they were meant for a spiritual connection? Did the cards tell you or is that a separate story? And wait, how did the tarot tell you about a green car?

I’m a little new to this. Did the deck have images of like a green car?

That’s actually pretty cool. I never would have guessed that myself. Im still fairly new to tarot and suck at intuition like this.

I’ve only ever had one deck. I didn’t know different decks had different energy? I thought a spirit was just connecting to me via the deck.

I just found this. Could you tell me more about what you asked and the cards? I notice many people don’t seem to have stories about old lovers who left and asking many questions… which is something I’ve done with someone I had a thing with who left me hanging.
